As a former City EMT I could say you were so lucky, Adam. I've picked up teeth and splinted broken bones on patients at wreck scenes like this. Glad we can laugh as you weren't badly hurt but yeah, that's a classic.

Hi Adam, we all make mistakes in life. When I was 8 years old I attempted to ride my bike down a set of stairs. It went horribly wrong for me, the tire caught on the rungs of the stairs and I got the end of the handlebars in the mouth. That left a scar that I still have today, I'm gonna be 49 yrs old this year. I got that scar on my upper lip 41 yrs ago. Thankfully I can't see that scar as it is covered up by my moustache. I'm glad that you weren't seriously injured when you tried to ride your bike down that slide. I'm enjoying watching your videos, you make excellent videos Adam. Take care of yourself and stay safe during this pandemic.
I can't even imagine doing a daily vlog for over 5 years. I'm so grateful for all the videos, though. It might sound weird, but they give me comfort. If I'm having a bad day, I'll watch some Daily Woo reruns. 😊

Schools used to have nice slides on the play ground. Now they are gone. Scary slides for a 1st grader, but I double very few ever got hurt. The slides now are just a few feet long and no fun.
Adam, I did see this one before and am getting a much richer perspective with this commentary. 👍🏻. When you straightened out the bicycle wheel next to the tree, I had a flashback of a similar scene in the movie” It’s a mad mad mad mad world”. The scene is where Jonathan Winters is having to retrieve a bike off the side of the road ( that he had just discarded moments earlier) after Phil Silvers commandeered his moving van while in pursuit of the treasure. He was straightening out the wheel in most the same way. Just had to share that. 😀

Blob Fest was one of my favorites. Born and raised in PA, I lived in Phoenixville for 9 years before moving to CO. Those were the some of the best years of my life. I've been to all of the places you visited in that vlog including the surrounding towns. Good to re-live those times vicariously through you. The bike incident vlog...then...first made me worry for possible damage to your body...now...makes me laugh so hard! Thank for the many great vlogs!!

This is indeed a classic episode. I must confess, I watched this back several times, each time laughing more and more into my tea, in 2016. Not because you were shaken or hurt, but because I know the feeling of having a bike crash all too well and to share in the joy, confusion, and mild pain of taking a colossal fall off a bike, with a stranger over the internet makes us - and others who have had the same - brothers in a kind of clan. Footsoldiers of fate.

I've had my share of bicycle accidents. Most of mine were on asphalt or concrete and happened when I was a teenager. I'm 48 now. That hurt watching it. As I've gotten older myself I believe the leading cause of injuries in old men, is believing they are still young.

You could play videos like these as conversation pieces too of course hehe. Okay now it's time for me to make that coffee. Oh remember you have to make coffee for you and your guest when they come on your podcast hehe. It's a good fun productive way to stay indoors and take a break when wanted during these times.

I remember when I first watched you fly through the air I laughed so hard that tears came to my eyes. Seeing it again made me laugh as well. It never grows old. One of your best videos although I wish you hadn't been hurt. I wonder if your adventure and your accident made them take out the slides? It crossed my mind when you revisited the sight and they were no longer there. At least you have them on video so that some one can say they were there at one time.

I remember when I first watched you fly through the air I laughed so hard that tears came to my eyes. Seeing it again made me laugh as well. It never grows old. One of your best videos although I wish you hadn't been hurt. I wonder if your adventure and your accident made them take out the slides? It crossed my mind when you revisited the sight and they were no longer there. At least you have them on video so that some one can say they were there at one time.

It was just SO GOOD I couldn't help it...it was hysterical. But we all learned something today...not to do THAT. Thanks for sharing...it's nice to get a really good laugh these days. I am very glad that you weren't injured any worse than you were. The way you flew...and thankfully NO broken bones! It wouldn't have been funny at all--if you had been seriously injured.

I loved those glasses. I looked everywhere for them. The Woo even gave away some knockoffs at one point. Was a huge part of the gimmick and I miss them!
