Bojorquez is the most "Cleveland punter" looking dude I've ever seen. The guy looks like he's got a Marlboro Red waiting for him in an ashtray on the sidelines.
Oof. I should have turned this game on. Browns are a different team in division and with any QB other than Watson. Blizzard games are always awesome! Would love to see a college bowl game in the northern US during a Blizzard like at Minnesota's Stadium or Camp Randall!
Options: Can kick on 3rd down. Doesn’t change conditions but can still help for a couple reasons. Extra down if needed. Take a bit of pressure off. Makes so not all penalties kill you. Element of surprise perhaps. Speaking of that QBs can punt. Maybe not be as afraid to throw long on whichever downs make sense. A deep interception is as good as a punt too.
If there is no returner on 3rd down, the quarterback only needs to do a 30 yard 'tumble punt' (think forward spin) and you get an easy extra 20 yards on the roll. In those conditions it wouldn't be the worst play
At our own one yard line on fourth down.. Remembers Isaac says to NEVER punt in a blizzard. Goes for the YOLO play. We Get Fucked. They now have the ball one the 1 yard line. What next?
Kicking/punting in Cleveland gets real tricky. That stadium has wind vacuums and gusts out of nowhere even on a clear day. Not knowing just snowy conditions
Insanely difficult? Damn that's all these guys do for a living! Every time I see one put one from the 50 yard line into the end zone when it could have been dropped at the 10 yard line I think they ought to fire them. If they can't handle that, then they should get one of the offensive linemen to punt it as he can only get 30 or 40 yards max distance anyway!
Punt was the right call, punter just executed poorly. A missed FG didn’t help but neither did the anemic offense or the boneheaded play calling or over aggressive 4th down attempts.
Issac, the content is great as always, but I have to say I really love the lo-fi background music you've started using....and I generally detest lo-fi.
Surely a drop punt into the wind is a safer bet. You'd get put on the bench if you shanked a 65yard spiral with a crosswind in aussie rules. Its an impossible kick cos you cant get any precision on the ball drop.
The big problem is people don’t understand how dendrites work in terms of the snowflake movement. The snowflakes move in what looks to be much faster than is actually blowing, and as a result, punters tend to overcompensate.
TV doesn't do it justice. The snow was coming down HARD and fast. You couldn't even see the ball from the press box in the 4th quarter. It was a blizzard.
@@xItsArk In the colloquial sense, used by laymen, it was a blizzard. While you and I are National Weather Service meteorologists (Quad Cities IA/Davenport Municipal station, checking in!) and know the official definition used by NWS and NOAA, any snowstorm with blowing snow and significantly reduced visibility is a "blizzard" to the average person. What I loved most about this event was the graupel, which is rare.
Dude. Use some commas and periods when you speak. And you never even addressed the title of the video. You showed two punts, one of which was not in a blizzard, both achieving horrific results. So is it severe winds you shouldn’t be punting into?
That's how these modern sports videos are. All are like early twenties beta males that speak in the same im-on-medication speak pattern. Gotts get used to it

Hey, maybe he’d have it hanging out of the side of his mouth while he was punting too😂
@@SirPhilosopherhonestly, it'd look pretty cool

after seeing this punt, i immediately thought about this channel.
My nickname for Bojorquez has been "Scrabble" ever since he entered the league. Got a J, Q, and Z in there.
Perfect nickname lmao
There was an MLB player with that nickname too, Marc Rzepczynski
If you could play it, it would be a minimum of 36 points
Whats even crazier is the difference between the 1st and 4th quarter's. Yikes!
In Ohio, they wouldn't call this a blizzard. They'd call it Thursday. But, yeah... kicking of any sort during a snowstorm is inadvisable.
Especially in Cleveland!!
Unless your name is Adam Vinatieri
@@Cynsham And the opponent is the Raiders.
Those two punts do not look like they're from the same game! That blizzard was insane!
Football in the snow is always my favorite football, even if my team isn't playing
As soon I saw this I was like that’s going to be on Isaac Punts tomorrow.
Kicking balls is hard
So what you're saying is: Always go for it on 4th down?
Men, Let's do it!!!

There's a reason they call those YOLO plays "arm punts" XD
Weather games are the best!
This game was fucking awesome, so happy for Jaboo as a Bucs fan

Or you could punt and they get it at the 17…

isaac, need a GT v NC state video, taking out their starting kicker only for the guy to miss...
Can you do something for the Tennessee Tech vs UT Martin game this year it was big for special teams.:Edit i Subbed
Browns Super Bowl bound!
100k lookin so close...
What a great game though!
When the blizzard hit you couldn't even see the ball.
I posted a video of this punt on my channel and tagged Isaac for a breakdown😭😭
Amazon ruined this broadcast with their Overlays to show the field numbers.
If Tomlin learned how to stop running the ball with Najee and how to use his timeouts, we would have won
The Steelers beating top teams and then losing to the Browns is extremely characteristic.
The steelers really needed all their kicking luck for the ravens game they lost some of what they needed for the browns game lol

serious question, what type/method of punt would you recommend doing to avoid the shank in this weather?
I only kicked in high school, but a 35 yard high pooch would be preferable to a 15 yard shank. Risk vs. reward.
Issac, the content is great as always, but I have to say I really love the lo-fi background music you've started using....and I generally detest lo-fi.

I can punt in a blizzard in a pick up game in my back yard and kick it more than 16 yards.
One thing Pittsburgh Steelers proved is they are going to get knocked out of the first round of the playoffs

@teebob21 for three hours the visibility has to be reduced
@@xItsArk The graphic showed 20-25 mph winds. If that is wind speed, then gusts will easily hit the 30's.
Wait! Replay it again because I didn't see the first 10. :/
this isnt playing a "blizzard" per say. The wind speed isn't high enough to be a blizzard. Its just a lot of snow.
Is this a lefty vs. lefty punter matchup? How often does that happen?
Steeler football means finding ways to lose to a 2-8 team. :-(
That was just... odd. blizzard beats punters 2-0.
Not a blizzard, but okay. Figured as much from a drama channel like this one
