Earlier he was about 17 kilometers away from Chandni Chowk in Jamia Nagar,Okhla with areas like Batla House which is a suburb in South Delhi. Chandni Chowk is in old Delhi which actually is the original city Delhi, also called sometimes Walled City with number of gates, like Delhi gate, Kashmiri gate, Lahori gate, Turkman gate etc. Emperor Shah Jahan built it in 17th century along with Red Fort n Jama Masjid. The main road Moshi ji is walking was actually a canal in its earliest times n they use to mention that moonlight used to shine in the canal and that is how it acquired the name Chandni Chowk. Matia Mahal area being adjacent Jama Masjid you might feel you are in Pakistan with mostly Muslim population , you have quite a few pockets in old city where mostly Muslims live. There are innumerable small but very interesting information about the old city. Maybe someday I might tell you all.
There are lanes and bylanes are exclusively selling non.vegetarian and hotels serving veg.byrani CHANDANI CHOWK different level Totally different, created during Mughals Shajahan period! You have to walk all lanes and eatery and there shops inside red fort and that unbelievable shops served native food, truly Mughals
