I just got my first piebald and diamond, tonight. It was a mule deer on SRP, and I didn’t know it was piebald or diamond until I picked it up. I was going to pick up another small mule deer when a herd came out of nowhere, and I saw a nice male, so I shot him, and he dropped immediately, too. I was shocked to find out it was a diamond, let alone my first piebald as well. I had also just gotten my first dilute right before that one.
Generally it’s for screenshot purposes. You have that like opaque black color behind the animal in the harvest screen, then when you look at the sky, it’s just a dark blue which looks nice, it also is good for cutting the background out for thumbnails 😜
