I lived beside the Amish for many years. I was born in the Jehovah Witness cult and the Lord took me out 12 years ago and they shun also but Christ set me free! The house looks great. You are blessed with those boys and Wyatt is in training! God Bless the Miller family
I don't know who does your music but it is fantastic. So proud of your sons! They work hard for young adults. They put so many to shame, you and Priscilla should be so proud of such a wonderful family. God bless you all!
I love to hear anyone talk about Jesus! I have sympathy for y'all in this heat! The humidity makes it almost intolerable. It sure drains your energy. Thank you for letting us see your adventures. God bless y'all.
I appreciate that you said we each have a story. I was a single parent raising my son and I didn’t come to know Jesus until 1993. So glad I am a part of the Lord’s kingdom
There is nothing more important than accepting our Lord & Savior- Jesus Christ. My personal relationship is so precious to me. I can be religious in brushing my teeth, combing my hair, washing my face or eating meals. They have nothing to do with my commitment to Jesus & Eternal Life. So happy you were accepted to visit with your family & getting to know them. Your Father will be pleased to hear about them. I will join you in praying for their Salvation. Looking forward to part 2 of the build. 💜✝️
What! Missouri! Our home turf! Born and raised in Springfield! Guess you guys don’t need a ton of us coming to see you! We Would have drove to see you all in a heart beat!! Wow! Did you fly into the Springfield airport? What a beautiful log cabin! You all have Amazing work ethics! It Brings us to tears to see you all work with such amazing craftsmanship! So happy you met your aunt and spent some time with them! Your message about Christ is right on brother! Thank you for this amazing video, for showing a piece of your life, and the special music at the in! WOW!
What man wouldn't want a few kids that will do things that just make dad happy. Wonderful kids do that. I know I would work my butt off to make my dad happy. I'm sure if they wanted to do something else dad would say sure what's the plan. This is a good show. Those kids don't know it yet but they have jobs that have structure content meaning and make good money but constantly learning or creating. They got good jobs already.
I enjoy seeing how much you can accomplish so quickly. We are very happy to see all you are doing to train the boys. I am glad you were able to touch base with long-lost family.
This was one of the very best videos. It was like going back in time for me. 82 years. Thank you so much for sharing. In our area, there are more German Amish than Swiss Amish, but, there are many Swiss Mennonite. Beautiful people. We all get along together.
How special for your boys to see up close, some of their heritage. I can't imagine how exhausting it must be going from the Alaska climate to the heat and humidity of Missouri 🥵 Well done on persevering 👊 Definitely be proud of the work your sons do, I'm sure your heart is justifiably bursting! Indeed, Jesus came to set us free.
Ava MO!!! I know where that is, would have come and shook your hand if had known you were in my area! Yes, the humidity is thick, like we can cut the air with a knife! Nice work as always.
My (vater) father was born in BRAUNLAUGE HARTZ MOUNTAINS GERMANY. HE COULD YODEL. I LOVED LISTENING TO MY VATERS YODELING. When I was 15, we went back to his mountain and he yodeled for me. I thank GOD, you were able to meet your family. I too love tomatoe sandwiches. Only from the garden. Say hello to your brother & JJ. GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU SE MICHIGAN 🙏 🙏✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
We enjoy watching your channels from your family and you most definitely are a delight to our heavenly father. You are a wonderful Christian family God’s blessings and healing for you in Jesus name.
Joas, When You we’re talking about Religion in The Truck, while going to get Tools. It brought me to Tears! I almost said Amen! Out Loud. As if You could here me! My Husband and I were just talking about all The Truth You we’re speaking, with our two younger children…in the last couple of days. It was in Regards to some discussions he had with co workers. At Bible Study This Morning here In Our Home in Southern Oregon. He was Telling Our Teenagers an answer they can give to people, when they don’t want to talk or here Religion. So impressed, awesome work ethics , great dad and sons all working together and supporting the whole family. Love watching you all the way from New Zealand. Massive respect, take care.
Amen brother. It is absolutely positively not about religion! It is about a relationship with God! Making the choice to love Him and live your life for Him!❤🧡
I did not know when my daughter moved to Mountain Grove, MO, she lived so close to Amish. When Grandma (in-law) died, evidently some went to the funeral. My hobby is to find and reconnect my family. The Amish barn reminds me of my Dody's barn in Topeka, IN. Enjoyed your video. God bless you and yours as always. Karen Yoder English
You guys are working hard building the cabin you're dealing with the hot heat drink a lot of water and Gatorade Ethan and Justin being 17 years old you guys are hard workers you learn from your dad and your uncle you guys we're good together what your dad your uncle and cousins keep up the good work
Golden Hour at minute 28, so perfect for photos❤❤. I was stationed in Ft Lennard Wood but traveled out from there in the early 90's. The Precious Moments Chapel is near Springfield, and the Lake of the Ozarks and all the caves are just amazing.
I live near where u guys are and I work and drive with Swiss Amish in licking MO our crew builds everything. The heat and humidity is no joke my family and I moved here from western Washington state about 4.5 yrs ago I hate the summers here and looking into moving to Alaska Lord willing

Great watching you all work together. Also glad your co-workers let you take breaks to take care of yourself. Wonderful you got to meet your aunt. Take care. I enjoy your videos every week.
Yes it is hot in Missouri, been here for over 40 years. This August seems a lot cooler than previous years. It’s the humidity, I can take the heat without the humidity. Best advice drink a lot of water and Zero Gatorade. 😅
I have a suggestion , go to Walgreens and buy you each one a ICE COLLAR that wraps around you necks filled with ice cubes... I have seen one Homesteader who bought one from Amazon that looks a little differnent but works under the same principle. If you cool the blood off in the neck veins and arteries to your brain it is an automatic way to air condioner you and you cool you off.......When I was a nurse and worked in a nursing home one summer they didnt have any air conditioners so the nurses aides showed me this trick except we could only use at the time a plastic bag of ice and wrappred then in bath towel and put it around our necks and it was so neat to stay cool the entire night or at least till the ice melted and then we had to fill it up with fresh ice again...So you guys don't have a heat stroke prevent it .......stay safe and cool.............
When I first started watching your channel, the boys were making a chicken coop with your supervision. They have come a long way. I'm glad you were able to video as much of the Amish farm as you did. It is a wonderful way of life to be separate from the world and so self sufficient. I know the religion is not what I could do, but I love the singing in church that they do. You have kept that alive in your worship and I enjoy hearing your family sing. I am glad you are keeping safe in the heat. It is so important to be careful. I know from experience that overheating is hard to get over. I still have to be very careful. I think Alaska is your home now. Montana is beautiful, but you seem to have more adventures in Alaska. God bless you all.
I really enjoyed the video. I tell you the truth your boys are amazing. They are wonderful wonderful hard workers and I know like you said you’re so proud of them I can understand. 🙏❤️🙏
Joas, you should get Liquid IV to help you recover faster from the heat. Just a thought. This heat and humidity are horrific this summer. Be smart and take care of yourself and your boys.
Where I live, summer highs are usually between 95F and 103F. And there is no such concept as a siesta! Maybe this fact will help you to feel a bit cooler .... perhaps ... 😊❤ Love your content, channel and that you are unashamed of Jesus.
That’s amazing y’all can work around the sloppy concrete job! The guy gets away with it because people don’t know what to expect and probably like other contractors...there’s less who do work and even less who do good work and rare to find anyone who does excellent work in our current day. Y’all are on the excellent work list with me! Always appreciate your integrity, skill, knowledge and workmanship! And faith! Amen! Relationship with Jesus ❤❤❤
Joas, Please let us know who the people are that are writing these beautiful original songs & recording them about your family and life. I can’t find any mention of them in your credits. Maybe you told us and I just missed it. I noticed that you’ve had them in your videos the last few weeks. What a great addition to your videos. 🥰❤️❤️❤️
I know what you mean working in the heat will totally exhaust you. I worked in the steelmill for almost 30 years in Northwest Indiana. The humidity will almost kill you.
I really enjoy your videos. I don’t live in Montana but am here for a while and met your brother at the Farm to Market store. Love going there and love the log homes.
You have taught your boys hard work and they are becoming outstanding young men, great job on the logs! I just love your log cabins, absolutely beautiful craftsmanship and quality! Love your videos! ✌🏼❤🙏🏼
Wow, that beam is huge! Glad you stopped when it got so hot. You will have a good tan when you get home! Don’t forget to stay hydrated….and the suggested neck coolers are the way to go!! Long hot days, but your crew are beasts plowing through it all! Your boys are turning into real craftsman, Joas. You have every right to be very proud!! Holy Cow…look at all those chicks! What a beautiful farm, and I am so glad they enjoyed your company. Wyatt is having fun on his adventure with his big brothers and Dad! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Wow! That house is beautiful, what a great job you did. I wish I could have a log home where I live but its all sand, and as a reault subturanian termites. I live on the largest inland sand bar, its called the "Pine Bush". Im in a suburb of Albany New York.
Welcome to Missouri my home, we’ve had a lot of hot and humid days this summer. You could almost call it Mis-er-y this time of year. Wish Ava was closer to the Kansas City metro area we’d have you and your sons over for a home cooked meal!!
Beautiful view Barbara has ! There was no getting used to that kind of heat and humidity! That was the hottest part of our summer so far ! - Versailles Mo
I have watched your Chanel for off and on 2 years now. I live south of Kansas city 150 miles N W of where you are my daughter n law dad was raised near Ava, mo I have been to that town and threw Seymour before. Joas glad to see you back building log homes makes my heart smile while you teach your boys the trade they will never forget, hard work never hurts anyone and your a family that proves that daily…
Awesome enjoyed the video! Your twins are simply wonderful and they work really hard like their father and mother - both dedicated to whatever they do and do it with perfection. Wyatt I guess was around for the ride but the little fella is learning fast. Having your brother along must also have been fun. Nice family of Amish relatives. Huge farm and I'm sure they have to work much more harder because they do not have the benefit of modern equipments! Praying they will soon understand the difference between 'religion' and 'relationship'. Missed seeing Priscilla and the girls but I'm sure she will come out with a Chloe Avalon video next week and also looking forward to seeing the progress you guys made on the log house. Waiting to see the deck...Stay blessed all of you - Priscilla and girls too - in Jesus' Mighty Name.
Please consider keeping journals, and maybe write a best seller to help your journey. It's so good to see how y'all love your family and share it with us. Blessings and prayers for you and your family.🤗🤗❤❤
We all have a story❤ Thank you for speaking truth and life. There is freedom for those who are in Christ Jesus. That is a luckily lady! The house is beautiful.
0:18 That had to be really nice to meet some relatives you didn't know. The log home looks beautiful. Try getting some shoe liners, you can get them thicker or thinner, to put in your work boots. The padding may help your heals, or get a creme to rub in your heals that may help them. Thank you for the video.
My mom grew up in Seymour, and I moved there when I started my career. We had an Amish crew build onto our house. Worked out of our Ava office as a supervisor for a couple of years. Currently live in Arkansas, but today in Missouri for a fundraiser.
Amen brother....Praise God for His unending mercy and grace through our Lord Jesus Chrsit! Brother please stay away from the edges and holes...pray all will be safe!
Wow this was an amazing video to watch 😮 you all work so hard and well together 😊 and l agree Joas you must feel a very proud dad to Justin and Ethan they are such great lads . Keep safe x
These 17 yr old boys can do this because they honor, respect, and listen to their wise father as he teaches them...
I love your attitude towards religion & Christianity. What a freedom to be in love with Jesus instead of religion ❤
Amen

Please consider keeping journals, and maybe write a best seller to help your journey.

Loved the video. So glad you got to meet your relatives. Stay safe & blessings to you all.
0:18 That had to be really nice to meet some relatives you didn't know. The log home looks beautiful. Try getting some shoe liners, you can get them thicker or thinner, to put in your work boots. The padding may help your heals, or get a creme to rub in your heals that may help them. Thank you for the video.
Great video. We lived close by Mountain Grove from 1998 till 2004 when we moved to KS. Our son Andrew moved back to the area .

My mom grew up in Seymour, and I moved there when I started my career. We had an Amish crew build onto our house. Worked out of our Ava office as a supervisor for a couple of years. Currently live in Arkansas, but today in Missouri for a fundraiser.
