Hi Dazz. Am doing a career appraisal route. Would you suggest writing attributes in bullet points like you did?. Appreciate if you can share email where we can share draft copy for your review. Thanks
Hi, you can do. I’d probably write it so that it was project headings and then go into bullet points about what you did and how it meets the attribute. If you have a draft you can send to everydaydazz@gmail.com and I’ll take a look when I get some time.
@@rummaan17 Did you manage to put your Career Appraisal Report together? I am confused as hell.. Should it be a project report and then somehow attributes in bullets or ....I do not even know what is the right question either. If you got any ideas from anyone from anywhere please let me know. Thanks
@@khannas9105 yes I went through. Like a project life cycle and how we covered the attributes. I heard its much easier now as you just need to write on ONE project covering everything
please advise about any other routes available other than IPD, for example, if someone worked in civil engineering for more than 20 yrs but never had any training...
Hi Dazz, find you videos very useful.I am writing up the career appraisal report at the moment. Is there any chances you keep the ICE videos which some members give examples on the 9 ICE attributes? I can’t access them online now.
If you have a masters, the process is the same regardless of where you are from. The first step is to get the right experience and complete your IPD. Only after you have your IPD signed off can you apply to take the exam or professional review.
Hi Dazz, great video and thank you for this. Just a quick query - would you recommending specifically stating the Attributes within the report body? For example, "...I obtained management and leadership (attribute skills during this project by..."?
Hey, I don’t think it’s necessary to state the attribute in the body of the text but feel free to use the main key words when describing the things you have done. I managed xyz… I lead a team of…. I communicated with the client etc etc
@@EverydayDazz Hi Dazz, thank you so much for your reply. Did you count how many times you referenced each attribute within your report, or is one reference for each attribute generally ok? I know that for the CA submission, we were told to have at least four examples for each attribute, but not sure how that translates to the PR Report?
Yes you definitely want a few examples of possible for each attribute. I’d say 2 minimum. When I was planning my report, I would make a note of which attribute I was writing about.
Need help with your report? Feel free to send me a draft copy with some questions and I'll get back to you 😀
