Arno is was one unique character, i most say well done on the developer's part. He was character i see that doesn't seem to have an alignment with any of the factions and is between both choices. Pretty interesting, i hope Ubisoft goes deeper in to the matter of freewill and oppression.
What I liked about Arno's character was how he had the same path as Haytham but chose a different route. They both lost their fathers and were taken in by Templars, most people don't realize this but the Elise's father was planning on inducting Arno into their order but he died. And it seems as though Arno did choose to be an assassin after dead kings seeing the good he was capable of doing and retrieving the artifact he was welcomed to the brotherhood again, and then he started doing the co op missions(most of them take place after the events of the main story are over) and his rank and status smoke the brotherhood rose up hence why at the end of Unity's storyline he had master assassin robes(Another thing I noticed about those robes was unlike his other robes they automatically have a straps on the back whether or not you have a heavy weapon equipped, the rest of his robes only have the strap if you equip a heavy weapon. That's probably because he reserved it for the guillotine gun)
Andrew Price Edward is different, he stumbled in to the brotherhood in search of wealth and fame for his wife or once was wife Caroline. His views and outlook changes over time intill he finally finds a reason to fight with the brotherhood and the templars. Edward is unique in his own way but not same fashion as Arno.

Thos game always caught me... The ending, the story... Arno's face... If you explore the feels and that emocional charge it's very painful. Poor Arno, poor Élise. If you add Unity's novel this get more sadness
I don't think the should add missions in the game, game it's Arno point and what it shows it's ok, you know everything abaut him. Later we have the novel with Élise for supplement.
watching it over and over again for a year now i think. and i'm always crying. just finished reading the book. i just can't-- it's like i've been through it all over again.
Elise's death was pure bullsh!t. They killed her just for killing her's sake. Arno struck Germain 3 times and survived, why did Elise have to die from that? There was so much potential in showing how badass Elise is taking down Germain by herself, or cornering him and Arno coming in to help her out at the last moment, so that they kill him together, achieving UNITY. Then they become Mentor and Grand Master side by side, bringing an end to the stupid and pointless war between Templars and Assassins, working together at last. For me, that's how it ended...
Awesome work, specially that ending. I have no deep knowledge of music but the violin for dramatic trailers does an amazing job. Keep doing your thing! ;D
+Lord Extermo nan l'idée était pas mal mais l'histoire principale est courte ils auraient pu faire beaucoup mieux en faisant en sorte que ça représente 70% du jeu au lieu de faire des tas de trucs secondaires souvent longs et chiants (c'est pour ça que beaucoup de gens ont adoré AC2 il y avait juste ce qu'il faut de secondaire mais une histoire qui représentait presque la totalité du jeu du coup elle est mieux construite et t'as le temps de t'attacher au personnage )
Lord Extermo sans aucun fond ni rien. Donc c'est encore plus mauvais... Il avait du potentiel de part l'époque dans laquelle il se déroulait, l'idée de plus rapprocher assassins et templiers (après AC3) etc.. Ils ont juste à reprendre des faits de l'histoire marquant, un gameplay s'inspirant de tous les opus précédents, et à avoir un brin d'originalité pour nous en faire un meilleur, bien sûrs ça sera moins rentable, plus coûteux à produire mais au moins ubi aura de nouveau une communauté trés solide qui s’effrite à cause de cet opus. C'est un bon jeu, un peu court, mais un mauvais assassin's creed.
+Southdark exactement surtout que contrairement à AC3 ils ont les moyens techniques pour faire en sorte que des événements historiques rendent bien à l'écran (les batailles dans AC3 étaient impossibles à rendre bien à l'écran alors que là ça aurait été bien de participer à de grandes révoltes comme la marche sur Versailles ) et un truc qui m'a déçu c'est de pas avoir accès aux jardins de Versailles il y avait un potentiel énorme ils auraient même pu y intégrer de bonnes missions coop ou de l'histoire principale qui auraient exploité le labyrinthe ou d'autres endroits tellement c'est grand enfin comme pour tous les AC depuis le 3 y a beaucoup de choses qui auraient pu être faite mais pour une putain de date de sortie ont été abandonné ou fini à l'arrache

Not my favourite AC game but still defo In my top 5 games of all games. No reason to hate this game at all and the characters were very emotion driven and intriguing.
No matter what the haters say, the story was a French love story with a badass emotional story. It was the beginning and the end of the series truly feeling into the assassin role. If they decided to remaster it with improved sounds and more accurate mechanics (or atleast finish repairing the mechanics) this would be a true masterpiece! I love Viking stuff, but the Viking ac fell so far from the true of a truly epic tale like this! I miss when stories this hood had you enticed into the game!

Arno is really overshadowed by all the assasin's he has a great character and one of the most saddest and depressing storyline. SPOILER ALERT ! Arno went through some heavy obstacles in his life he wittnised his father being murdred and probably never knew his mother. When he got adopted by the La Serre Family he had through his youth like a forbidden relation with Elise. He only wanted Elise to be safe and well even if had to sacrefice their relation. When his stepfather got murdered and he got the blame you can clearly see how much he adored his new family. After he got back from prison to Elise you can also clearly see he prefers to be unhappy and in a depression only for her to be safe. I mean he even killed his mentor an old friend of his dead father to protect her (becease she was a Templar wich makes thing more difficult). the only thing at this point of the game that Arno had was his love for Elise. And when everything was looking good for both of them Elise died and also the last piece of Arno.later in dead king you can see how he fell in depression again and how the loss of Elise haunts him. I really wish we see more of him in the future they can make a game set in the Napoleonic wars with Arno returning to France. I think there is still alot of to explore of his character and this era.
Shay became a Templar and Arno was Exiled, they both had their reasons. Shay and Arno are my favorites as realists not as the idealists assassins show themselves.

One of my favourites with black flag, I don't really like the new stories in origins and odyssey, am I the only one who doesn't, better graphics but I prefer a good story line

let's be honest the only reason Arnold went with the templar grand master is because of Elise.
They don't deserve a tribute, their characters were both disappointing compared to what Assassin's Creed has previously done.
