Mel, most of the NDEs just seem to corroborate what the Upanishads speak of repeatedly. To sum up what Swamiji said, here's what a great ancient Sage , full of joy at the realisation of Brahman said, "Hear you all Children of Immortal bliss, even those who dwell in higher realms, I have known the ancient one , who is beyond all darkness, Knowing Him alone will you be freed from death over again, There is no other way, none whatsoever".
