How do you prevent all your straps getting cut when someone side swipes your trailer? What’s the point of a “rub rail” if the straps are on the outside of it?

You said alternate your pulls? But what if you only have winches on one side of your trailer?
Ratchet straps or switch some of your winches over to the other side.
Isn't this belly straps?
No belly strap goes through middle of load. Like when stacking trailers
