We LOVE these videos. I have 3 daughters who all study violin, whichi is expensive, of course. So, we rotate -- we pay for 2 lessons a week, and the girls rotate (every week 1 girl skips a lesson). Each girl, on the week she skips, watches the appropriate Doree video for whatever she's working on, so she keeps making progress at least on her Suzuki assignments. It helps us to keep pace on a budget, and her reliable technique gives her a high approval rating among private teachers.
I have always wondered why it is so common to play F# and G# both ascending and descending (9:07 - 9:16) instead of playing G natural and F natural descending (melodic minor). It sounds startlingly wrong to me. Is this from the Suzuki book?

Ужасная аппликатура. Например, как можно показывать на 5:47 минуте f2 и h1 исполнять одним первым пальцем, f2 берется в полупозиции а h1 в первой. В быстром темпе это место будет всегда звучать не качественно. Хочеться посоветовать госпоже Goree Huneven взглянуть на редакцию профессора Б. Беленького и я надеюсь ей многое станет яснее

I think that the Suzuki version it´s not Vivaldi, it´s Suzuki arrengement of Vivaldi´s concert
I don't like the suzuki version. prefer the original notes on the solos, it's more melodic.

I don't hear much difference between piano and forte in your playing. Sections marked "piano" don't sound soft at all.
