- I'm becoming more and more in love with this LG24 coil that Nokta makes for the Legend. I took it over a very hunted out permission and I still found coins and I even pulled up a Buffalo Nickle which impressed the heck out of me. The LG24 is a remarkable coil for the Legend and I'll show you how I've been using it.

Hey really enjoyed your hunt congrats on the buffalo just curious of the date on it, I know now I have got to get that coil I've had smaller coils on my other brands but that one seems to really stand out.
I got one of the first legends version 1.04 I think it was and it has really came a long way since it came out I really enjoy it, anyway have a Happy Thanksgiving.

What's your recovery speed? Using that coil I keep mine at 4 to increase my depth. And at 6-8 for parks.And thanks for telling me about Fort Bedford MD. John Page has been great and even delivered some of my purchases. Thanks Scott
They are great to work with. Glad you gave them a chance to earn your business. The recovery was set at 5. If you want more depth drop it to 2 or 3.

just bought it for my legend only taken it out twice so far but got me silver the first time out also very impressed with it.
Yep its a really nice machine for the money.
I have 57-60 notched out in my custom program to eliminate some of the false high tones. I have found nothing good that hits that high. I did the same thing with my 800.

Pretty impressive pulling out good items from a location that you have been over time and time again. I have that coil and it is great for tight areas.

LG24 coil gives respectable depth despite its size.
It beats most of the other competitors for depth based on my tests. It gets crazy depth.
Another youtuber sold his two Deus ll's and his three Nox 800's and bought two of the Legends. That says a lot for them!
I know who you are referring to but lets face it, he is in the water a lot, I too have moved away from the D2 for water. I'm all in on the Manticore for Beach hunting. The extra antenna is a pain but the D2 is still a killer machine. I have a hard time putting it down.
Hello MM. When swinging over iffy signals, have you tried switching over from M3 to a single frequency to let’s say, 10 kHz? Could it single out the target ID/tone better, swinging over it again? Just curious, because I’ve had my Legend for a year now and I don’t think I’ve tried that yet.
Hey there thanks for the question but nope I've never tried it, and to be honest I can usually pop the target out the ground quicker than switching around programs and frequencies.
@@MentalMetal Yeah, I was just wondering if the signal would sound sharper if it was switched to a single frequency, just as an experiment. I may try it next time I’m out swinging.
Which machine you like the best so far. Deus2, Manticore or Legend. I got all three and I still like the Deus2 the best. Might change when I get the M8 coil for the Manticore.
Hey Darrell I'm still picking up the D2 more than the others but these new coils for the Legend are pretty good. I will take the Manticore over the D2 for the beach though. You can't beat the Legend for the price.

They will both ring up around the same.
How do you find it depth wise compared to 30
30 has a slight edge on certain targets but the 24 beats all the all small coils that I have regarding depth. It is pretty impressive.
@@MentalMetal yes I'd concur with that ... Because you can run the smaller coil hotter it came very close to the 30 on my test...with better manoeuvreability pinpointing and seperation ... I like it
