OH MY GOSH! How did I not know about version history!?!??! You didn't really 'teach' about that in this video, but you used it and my mind was blown. I can't believe I did not know about that yet. All the HOURS of work this could have saved. hahaha
What if instead of dividing the background colors horizontally, we want to divide them vertically so that half the page has one color and the other half another color?
I notice that when I set a background a margin is created on the page. Not so much a problem on a laptop, but on mobile it looks squished. Solution: I added: margin: -10px; - and that fixed it.
Please begin posting your code so we can paste it into our courses and edit to our liking. I get you're trying to teach folks how to use ccs but Jesus would that would be helpful.
Unfortunately TH-cam doesn't allow us to put any code in the video descriptions. That's why I created the howtocanvas.com webpage - to supplement the videos and give you all my code. :D
@@HowToCanvas Well, it's fantastic and I'm learning a fair amount from you and send many thanks for providing this content. I now look at everything though accessibility first rather than leave it an thought. Thankfully, I have come to find that these things work in harmony. That is, good design and accessibility seem to go hand in hand. Two off topic requests: 1. will you make a video showing how one can make, store, and link a custom stylesheet? This would be really neat! 2. What software do you like to use to produce and edit your videos?
@@SoCalRhetor I use Camtasia mostly for my videos. Tomorrow's video will cover very briefly how to modify your institutional CSS file, but I think you have a good idea that this should really be it's own video. I'll see if I can squeeze that in for my 11/9 upload. Thanks for the suggestion! And thanks for all the support.

Sometimes just clicking around randomly is the best way to help us save time in the future. lol
On Cavnas "New Quizzes", can you ad colors to rows when you create a table in new quizzes?
When new quizzes incorporates an HTML editor then this should be something you can do.
