Amen and thank you so much. I am struggling with the passing of both of my parents, eight months apart. It will be one year in January. It really does hurt because it is a complicated grief. Not all was well in my relationship with them, especially my father. Sibling relationships also estranged from one another. A lot of loss, overall. Your response is exactly what I've been seeking, that is, based in scripture. I've been dwelling on and studying Psalm 23 lately. God bless you. ❤️
I lost my partner tragically last week and am absolutely heartbroken, but still trusting God and leaning on him every minute of every day. I really have no other choice right now. Looking forward to reuniting in His kingdom when the time comes. All prayers welcome right now x
thank you so much for your biblical answers and your kind words of wisdom, you are a breath of fresh air in this crazy would we live in,i love listening to you and will be praying for you, keep up the good work.God Bless You!
If God tells us not to do something, it would stand to reason it’s because it’s possible to do it; (this is my paraphrase of Dr. Michael S Heiser’s statement on this). You addressed it well that we are to be looking, trusting and knowing our comfort, peace, wisdom, strength comes from God, and not from loved ones that have passed over to His presence. It always concerns me when Believers think that the spirit of their deceased loved one is right there with them, and showing signs that they are. Also Elijah did not die, but was taken up, and we are not sure Moses body wasn’t already caught up and glorified. Samuel passed before salvation through Jesus, so his spirit would have been in Sheol on Abraham side, not in heaven yet.
Thanks for such a detailed explanation. After my parents went home to be with the Lord I wondered if they remembered me or thought about me. I was directed to Christ's account of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16. The fact that the rich man remembered and was concerned for his brothers even in Hell was a comfort to me. If a man in Hell remembered his family how much more would my saved parents remember me. I was so comforted by this knowledge.
thank you my freind for the thoughful, insightful reply to my question about mom and dad. Truly means a lot to me . . i can always rely on you to help and guide me with the tough questions in regarding scripture and how it aplies to well.... everything.. take care, TBP
I had an inspired insight last night and I can say that we are being watched by a multitude. The thought of the movie "The Truman Show" came to mind as we are living in a space-time creation called "earth" and much more exists outside of our present domain.
@@nevereux "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us," Hebrews 12:1
Can you explain the 2 gospels... a lot of churches are trying to teach there has to be signs and wonders in addition to the Gospel because Paul said signs and wonders and the Apostles also worked signs and wonders. It's a very dangerous teaching going around.. Please set it straight as I know you can. Bless you and yours.
According to scripture, this whole notion that people die and go directly to heaven is a false notion. Why are the *Dead in Christ raised at the very end, with the living (1 Cor. 15) if they are already in heaven? Dan. 12:1-2 says the [Jewish] Saints will be raised at the end (when Jesus returns) but we sleep, just like them, but we ha e to go marry the Lamb Jesus, Israel are married unto God already. No people are in heaven with God at present save maybe Elijah, Moses and the one from Genesis, Enoch. God does Harvests all at once. People who see visions of people in heaven in the spirit world are seeing into our future, but God lives in all time at once, so he lives with us now in Heaven in the future, but we can not cross that domain yet, as God can. We are in a universe where we are bound to the space tine continuum.
@@js-re8kx Except people do not think things through. For example, in Dan. 7:11 it says the Beasts body is DSTROYED and he s KILLED and cast into Hell. In Rev. 19:20 it says the Beast & F.P. are cast alive into hell, now you have to THINK, because God can not lie. Answer at the bottom. Here, Paul is dealing with people complaining about their loved ones passing on, the feared there loved ones would be left behind. So, Paul tells them, to be absent from the body (TO DIE) means we will [ONE DAY] be with the Lord. But alas, we are still harbored by him as we sleep. If a small child want top go to the Zoo and its the next morning, we can truthfully tell him to go to sleep and we will be there as soon as he wakes up (basically). Its the same thing, Jesus gives those Martyrs under the altar at the the 5th seal their white robes, but they are not raised until Jesus' 2nd coming, unlike us who are taken pre 70th week. What Paul is doing is saying HEY......don't worry bout your loved ones, all of us who [EVENTUALLY] want to be with the Lord have to die, unless we are on earth at the time of the rapture, so dying is OK, we will go to be with the Lord. Here is the biggest problem with Paul's "Letters to his Churches" being scriptures. 1.) He did not know they would be else I bet he clarified like the Prophets with Thus saith the Lord" and 2.) We have no idea of what the churches letters said or asked Paul, for instance what if they said, I know we will sleep in the grave them one day go to be with the Lord, but WHAT ABOUT OUR Loved ones? And Paul merely affirms when we die we will indeed go to be with the Lord, knowing he has already taught them we do not go straight to heave when we die. As per the answer above. We are immortal beings, that is what in God's Image means. Thus we never truly die, we just sleep in the grave as Dan. 12;1-2 says and as Paul says in 1 Cor. 15:50-52. So, elsewhere we are told ALL MEN must die and be judged, the A.C. & F.P. are men, so they are killed by the presence of Jesus' 2nd coming, and never allowed to rest but CAST ALIVE(in Spirit) straight into hell. Meanwhile the rest of the dead who sleep are judged and cast into hell 1000 years later at the 2nd Resurrection, as is Satan .
I also agree in what you said I don’t think that Christian upon death go straight to heaven for the same reasons you said I was just reading it today.Except those God took without dying an earthly death.I often wonder how Lazarus,Jiraus daughter and others that Jesus resurrected did not say where they went to when they were dead!!Lazarus was dead four days Jesus said to their families they were sleeping no one talks or explains this?
