Now I got some more but that's a start.
@@ReggieMorrison Although myself and everybody in boxing knows Spence tried his best to dodge the Crawford fight as much as he could, I can't help but respect the fact that he did eventually go through with it and get the whooping that he deserved. He could have permanently avoided the beating like Joshua did from Wilder a few years back when Wilder was in his prime or how GGG dodged Ward or how Canelo will dodge Benavidez, etc. Some fighters permanently dodge people they know they can't beat no matter how much the public pressures them for it. I’m a Bud Crawford fan for years and knew he would beat Spence but it’s hard not to root for Errol. He just seems likable and honest in his interviews..
I think if they fought a few years earlier, EJ would’ve won. He’s been through too much since and Bud is one of the best. Bud grew into that weight perfectly and was ready. Hell he looked like the weight bully night of the fight. The long layoff didn’t help either. At this juncture Bud is just better and EJ not the same

He never faced a guy who would counter him in between his shots that had power in both hands, a longer reach and faster like Bud. Errol’s best chance to win or be competitive would’ve been when Bud first got to 147 so in that I agree with you..

I think people need to go back and watch that fight when they try to assume he would have won back then. Add on the fact that stylistically, it was never a good match up for him.

To me nobody in this era still can't beat Floyd. Crawford is the best of this generation but I have Floyd beating him not by knockout but by UD. Floyd just has too many rabbits in his hat.

Also it's easy to say that when floyd has never faced anyone stylistically similar to bud. Same goes for bud. The difference is you choose to only acknowledge one part. I'd have Bud beating Mayweather at 47, 35-40 id have Floyd UD. The punch arsenal and Floyd's issues with Southpaws. And before you mention his stats. Eye test and knowing what happens in the ring. Floyd relies alot on the back hand right, and happened to square alot and move forward much more against southpaws. With the exception of Pac where he'd simply angle away from the left. He'd use stepbacks too. Packages lead hand is no where near bids and his punch arsenal and understanding of distance is alot worse. You're going off Floyd's "Resume" not the skills and the IQ presented. It's not a resume argument. That shit don't hold up in the ring. There's no stylistic comparison for either. Bud was much better at applying physical controls and working out the Clinch at 47. So it would limit mayweathers shoot and smother tactics which would be very ley in the fight. If Spence/Porter couldn't get off of Buds Clinch and couldn't stop bid working there. What chance you think Floyd has. 2 fighters stronger and more physical. You'll be suprised. 47 Crawford will be a fighter thay ages like wine.
Floyd struggled against Castillo and most expects and boxing fans ( not individual fanatics ) think so too. Floyd had a few of those close bouts. Crawford on the other hand is getting rid of you and makes sure it is not a close fight. Crawford has also a better reach than Floyd and knows how to use it. Crawford is almost 37 now, but he's still in his prime. I pick Crawford to beat prime Floyd anytime
