he was asked about playing the all 12 4q. said he does his best at his min, and he is happy with any amount.
he said there are things he wants to wirk on to be more complete player.
and that he was happy for Scoot that works hard

@@MsCatiris For shame PDXers. I of course have no problem with any one’s ethnicity but Deni is an avowed apartheid apologist. I similarly denounce cliff Robinson and Kenny Anderson for legitimizing the North Korean regime. I thought Portland had higher standards. Guess I was wrong

    Hebrew translation:
    1st Q
Reporter: you didn't came off the court the whole 4th quarter , did you speak with coach about that it was planned?
Deni: The truth is i am not controlling my minutes , there are times that i play like today but at the end i am trying to do the best with the minutes i have , to play the best i can and to play with confidence and to be a threat near the basket and it doesn't matter if i play 34 mins or 22 either way i don't have any complaints , i will do everything for the team
    2Q
Reporter : you were the mvp of the game and there are voices in the crowd that says : " he is our best player " , there was a point in the game that you thought to yourself that it is another step closer to place you said you want to be in ( in the term of his level and skill ) ?
Deni: i think that i have already shown in the past in some of my games my skill set , i think it's taking time to settle in a new team as time goes by in the NBA i feel that i have more confidence i feel that i am establishing my game batter , there are a lot of things i need to work on in my game and i am not yet the complete/whole player as i want from myself to be but i am defiantly working out every day and improving and learning and it fun to me , its fun to be part of those wins and to play like i did today , again i don't think that i am gonna play every game like today but i will defiantly be aggressive and i will do my best
    3Q
Reporter: Did you wanted the last ball ?
Deni: yes i did want it , but you know what , when i am thinking about it Scoot works so hard he deserve it and i give him 100% of credit as he deserve
    4Q
Reporter: About Scoot there was a possession few moments before that when you both came down on defense and you both yelled at each other who is closing one of the Jazz players on D . coach called that "healthy" he said that the players are communicating and fighting and that what he wants to see and Scoot said the same in his conference and the game was ended with a big hug between you two after a game winning shoot do you think its an element of the building that the squad goes through ?
Deni: i am having fun i think emotions are part of the game i think that anger and rage in the middle of the game are healthy , cause in the end of the day you don't want your teammates just to stand still and no one will talk to the other , even things like this that look not good from the sideline or from the stands are really healthy , yes me and scoot had a misunderstanding but i think i let it slide by and everything is ok

That guy is just a BEAST on D in every. Single. Minute he plays. It’s a joy to watch. Great game all around fellas! Made CB proud. 🥹❤️‍🔥

A clarification for all you native English speakers: Deni cracked me up when he said "letting go of the gas," which is a literal translation of a Hebrew slang phrase that in English would be more like letting go of the gas pedal. 😀

no because cant trust front office to do that, every year (under olshey too) it was obvious to sell certain players and they always waited too long. it is too long, none really have value

Quit F'ing around front office and coaching staff. Get Ayton, Grant, and Simons out of here like you should have explored last year at the trade deadline.... and give starting roles and heavy mins to Scoot, Sharpe, and Deni. That is the whole point of this rebuild that you kicked Dame out for. START the young guys who actually will play hard. So sick of Ant, Grant, and Ayton.

He's more like a Blazers era Pippen who can reach a pre-Dynasty Pippen while Sharpe is like young Kobe (they put up similar numbers as 3rd year players)....no idea if he ever becomes Kobe/Harden level but his performances are looking more and more like it

      The question was
“You played throughout the entire 4th quarter was it something you planned with the coach¿”
      Deni said
No I basically have no control over my minutes and there are times that I play this or that amount but ultimately I’m tryna do what I can with the minutes I have
Playing the best that I can, playing with confidence and attacking the basket. Weather I play 34 minutes which is great or 22 minutes I’d have no complaints. I do anything for the team.
“You were the match mvp and there are whispers within the fans “our best player” and such
Was there any point today that you felt like there was a step in the right direction to where you wanna be¿”
I think I have already showed some of my abilities in past games, I think it takes time to acclimate to a new team, as time goes in the NBA I feel I have more confidence and I’m establishing my game better. There are a lot of things i need to work on at the moment I still don’t think I am as complete of a player as I wanna be but I’m putting in work every day and getting better. I’m having fun taking part in this wins and playing the way I play
Again I don’t think I’ll play on this level each and every match but I’ll definitely be aggressive and try my best.
      “You wanted the last ball”
I did want it but u know what
Scoot works so hard and he deserves it I support him a 100 percent.
There was a play a few minutes earlier when you when both went back on defense and were shouting on each other who’s the one to get the ball
The coach called that healthy he said some people are communicating in the team and fighting which is what he wants to see
Scoot said the same the game also ended on a hug you went and gave him after the winning bucket how is it a part of your recognition for each other¿
      I’m having fun
I think emotions are part of the game
Rage anger, in the heat of the game is healthy in my opinion.
At the end of the day you don’t want your team to just stand around no one talking to each other
Eventually things like that that (misunderstanding with scoot ) may look bad from the sideline but are healthy
So yeah we had a misunderstanding but I let it slide
