My favorite was the sand-colored card you have the twine bow on. Love the idea to use glitter cardstock for the frames of the sunglasses, that's so perfect!

Oh neat, you're local to me! You inspire me a lot to make cards with patterned cardstock. I went into the craft store this weekend to be in some air conditioning, and walked out with two 12x12 packs to make cards out of. Gonna keep myself busy for a while!
Another lovely set of cards! I, too, recently got a new manual diecut machine. I went from a Cuttlebug to a Big Shot. And I noticed the same problem with the sandwich when trying to use an embossing folder. Just a matter of fiddling until you find what works, I suppose!
I just finished using this kit, so I wish this had come out sooner. I got a ton of cards made. Love the first one with the little squares and the Hello Sunshine with the vellum. TFS, I know you're busy making wonderful videos for us. I do think these kits are worth the $
I received the kit a bit late, then my June schedule filled up quickly. Card making and regular life. But it's a fantastic kit! I always enjoy using Pink & Main's kits. 😊

I have been waiting for this video using this kit. I needed some extra inspiration in using this kit. I loved all your cards so much it's hard to pick a favorite. But I think I like the first one the best. I too had problems with using the embossing folders in my machine. Since the folder is square I had to run it through my big Gemini. I just removed all the inside layers and just used the top and bottom plate with the folder inside only. I think P & M embossing folders are such a sturdy quality you don't need the extra sandwich layers in the machine to get the raised images. Try it and see if that will work for you.
I think you're right about the embossing folder. It's very sturdy. I'll keep playing around with the layers. I always needed an extra shim for my older machine, but now with the brand new one. Lol!
@@KristieMarcotte I found out the hard way with Pink and Man's embossing folders. I have to run them through my big Gemini since they are 6 x6 in size. When I used the normal foam embossing part for the sandwich it cut straight through the paper. I now just use the top and bottom shim with embossing folder only. The folders are so raised they don't need any other layers.
I love Catherine Pooler inks! I've made the investment and currently have every color. (Most are the mini pads, but I'd like to upgrade to all full size ink pads and refills.)
Peach and Turquoise are my favorite colors so you can imagine which one is my favorite.
I love the beach theme paper pads and the sun glasses are fantastic! Love the cards!
