I use cool sunrise and use a concealer over top. I am paler than you and find the cool sunrise is excellent at concealing the purple under my eyes. Often times correctors can't really be used on their own because they have a correcting colour that isn't skintone coloured. You mentioned not wanting to return? Regardless of if you dropped the bottle of the concealer and cracked it, Sephora would still damage it out because it's been used right?
Great question! Sephora definitely would have honored the return and marked it as non-sellable, but I didn’t feel right about taking it back since I caused the damage on a brand new product & with a little finessing can make it work with other concealers. ☺️
I bet that was quite the experience to start working at Sephora right before the sale. I wonder if you'll discover a bunch of new favorite products now that you're working there. I haven't tried all of the products I ordered from the sale yet, but I do really like the Merit Signature Lip in Millennial.
Monochromatic means the SAME COLOR STORY. None of these tones are monochromatic...you have a deep berry lip gloss, a peachy pink blush and a mauve taupe cream eye shadow....Sorry but it would be all pinks, all Berrys or all mauve/taupe.

The Merit Signature Lip is amazing - I have a couple colors but not Millennial, I’ll have to check that one out!
