4:47 i’ve had severe acid reflux since i was little (thanks dad) and it burns so badly. i remember from ages 2-5 my voice was just awful, like i sounded like i smoked 3 packs a day. the acid literally was corroding my esophagus and if i forget to take my medicine once then that whole day is filled with intense heartburn. when i was little and i didn’t know what it was i would tell my mom there was a fire snake in my throat trying to come up. she didn’t know what was causing it so whenever i ate a trigger food (things like beef but particularly chicken broth) i would throw up the entire day and my voice will be gravely after. even now when i’m just laying down i can feel it in my chest and i took my medicine yesterday. it gets in the way a lot with my sports but more swim than anything. on my backstroke i have to time my breathing as well as worry about breathing out of my mouth too much in fear i’ll throw up. brightside is though is that i can skip school pretty easy just by eating a trigger food and i’ve gotten really used to throwing up so it’s light work now
☺️🧬 I always love your videos with facts about a certain topic. Your voice is so relaxing and enjoyable to listen to and the combination with the soft triggers is just right! It‘s also fun to listen to and see what facts I already know since I‘m a huge biology/medicine nerd ( + doing my bachelors in molecular biology) And other topics I don‘t know anything about are fun because I can learn something new without the pressure of being tested on it! ☺️
I just found your channel last night, I fell asleep to the space facts video in less than ten minutes. It usually takes me over an hour of different ASMR vids to fall asleep. Thank you!

Eumelanin is responsible for brown and black colors, pheomelanin is responsible for reds and yellows. Idk why it's just called "melanin" by so many and ignoring the specific types of it. Not you in particular, but that list I mean for example.

@@asmrkaya Alright I’ve got an update! This fact was not true for me, however…the nurses said I must have a very high pain threshold since I was unknowingly in labour for 2 days 😅 (birth was rough, don’t wanna go into to many details for those who will get the ick)
My eyes are lying to me! I have a pretry high pain tolerence and according to my Anesthesiologist at rhe clinic where I got my wisdom teeth removed, I'm no lightweight. But my sister (hazel blue eyes and pale skin) is. I supose we are a bit ofba scientific anomaly. 🤷♀️
