I’m here still waiting for the traveler to unlock his original “element”, become as strong as the other five stars and become truly “meta”. Then unlock his/her sword which gives exclusive OP buffs to the traveler so that they can finally be the main character they always were. I have used Traveler since day one and I am probably one of the few players who actually invested resources and time into the traveler (I didn’t go all the way, I didn’t crown them as I would have to use 21, or at least 18 crowns due to his multiple elements). Anyway, I’m waiting…
Both my mate and I maxed out our Traveler and always get all of their skills to +8 minimum. We don't play them a lot, but it's one of those things where you only have to level them up (character level) once so why not. Glad we did when Dendro dropped. But Geo Traveler hits like a truck and Anemo Traveler was OP before they added invisible walls to Spiral Abyss.

It will definitely not be meta. It will be superior than all current 5 star weapons though. But as soon as it gets released on the next patch new better weapons will start showing up.
I think all the gnosis that the fatui are collecting isn't for cryo archon but for the sibling instead because i think that cryo archon is working under the abyss prince/princess i.e. sibling. because it was too convenient for signora to come and take venti's gnosis without anyone noticing.. because everyone was too focused on the chaos created by abyss order on the front gates if you remember correctly and Kaeya was the only one who pointed out that there are unwanted guests who snuck inside the city in the midst of chaos. and i think sibling is taking all the gnosis because like MC sibling is also able to control all the elements and with all the gnosis they will become one true god/archon in other terms " the final boss ". edit : Its just a theory, A GAME THEORY. During this time, Kaeya was lying so that he could arrest the people from his story. But knowing Kaeya, he could have also been hinting a bit of his life story in his little stories. Like him using the story of the sword but just pretended it was his grandfather pirate who found it, when in reality it could have been his father and he witnessed it.
Honestly, I thought Kaeya was just bull shitting us with the creatures his father "defeated" when I first started playing. However, seeing the bosses we've defeated in game so far, I think they may be teasers for (future) bosses. The Hydra very well could have been Osial, the "Abyssal Dragon" may be when Durin finally wakes up, and if Mihoyo _really_ doesn't want to waste Signora's design she may be recycled into a "silver haired banshee."
Signora's design isn't 'wasted'. She already served her purpose in the story. She's called a silver haired banshee because that's what she essentially is, if you know her backstory.

It's interesting that the three monsters that Kaeya's grandfather slew were a Hydra (greek mythology), a Banshee (Nordic and Slavic Mythology), and an Abyss Dragon (Teyvat legend). We know that the people of Byakuyakoku/Enkanomiya used grecian nomenclature before Orobashi arrived and they changed to using Inazuman (Japanese) nomenclature. We also know that Khaenrh'ians seem to use Nordic nomenclature (Dainsleif, Rhinedottir). and we know that the Abyss is home to many monsters we have not yet seen. Very interesting how these are all connected.
The best lies have truth mixed in within them, I believe Kaeya took advantage of the traveler being an offworlder and mixed a legend of a fallen sword in Teyvat (something the Traveler wouldn't know about) with fake stories about his grandfather's adventures
I hope they make this weapon extreemly broken asf passive but in exchange, only traveler can use the passive, so maybe like boosting crit rate and crit damage by 15% and 30%, elemental damage 20%, and if the user on field, it boost atk 7,5%, crit rate 5%, crit damage 10%, and elemental bonus by 7% every 3s, can be stack by 10
I just hope that by the end of the story we unlock the MC’s power as “light” power (doesn’t have to be an element) and the other Sibling with his/ her own power “Dark” with their own respective weapons and maybe even gliders.
Pfff, if you remember the main reason the traveler is stuck in Teyvat is cause the unknown god stole his powers including his sword, and talking about lore possibly at the end of the game is when we will meet again with her. So far, there is no specific time so it could be like in 3-4 years
Imagine if they add the Twins at full power into the gacha as a 5* character and their attack animations incorporates both of their models. We already have an upcoming duo character so that's not out of the realm of possibility.
It is already shown that they have a dual fighting form. Aether always attacks lower and Lumine higher, so they can attack together from 2 different angles.
All I hope for is Pyro as main dps and Hydro as a healer. They keep giving us utility kits and there are better characters that are 4 stars… Give traveler a different role so they can flourish elsewhere, utility is highly contested by some of the strongest characters. Zhongli? Kazuha? Raiden? Traveler can’t compete, let them do something else so the niche pick can be more versatile.
The traveler's kits are just mini versions of the respective archons (Venti's CC, Zhongli's AOE geo dmg and pillar-like structures, Raiden's energy recharge support) so with the pyro archon championing war, I'd think both are gonna be main DPS.
I feel like Kaeya refers to the Dark sea when he says sword dropped from celestia into the sea. Don't worry, once Enkanomiya is released in the future we will get more lore and theory regarding traveller...

If what Kaeya's granfather did really true, that such an OP yet dangerous sword the Traveler have laying around. Given that its not a holy or restricted sword, anyone could pick that up and be the Hero of their nation or Villain.
Problem with Traveler is, he needs to be reworked, because now, its every 4-star in same element better than Traveler and you can not save him by 5-star sword made up for him. They are ways to make Traveler useful. For example give him 5th team character slot, so you can have him always in team and you dont care about how good are his abilities + in quests it would be making more sense have Traveler rdy up in your team, instead now, when within any dialogue he appear and after dialogue ends, he disappear. Second way is make him possible to combine any elements - for example, you choose to use electro elemental skill for battery and anemo burst for elemental reactions and CC.
Can't wait for the moment that traveler have all elements and their sword and now we can fight our twins

If what Kaeya's granfather did really true, that such an OP yet dangerous sword the Traveler have laying around. Given that its not a holy or restricted sword, anyone could pick that up and be the Hero of their nation or Villain.

The fact that traveler beat shogun with dull blade instead of his secret weapon shows tht he was only using 2% of his power
Problem with Traveler is, he needs to be reworked, because now, its every 4-star in same element better than Traveler and you can not save him by 5-star sword made up for him.
They are ways to make Traveler useful.
For example give him 5th team character slot, so you can have him always in team and you dont care about how good are his abilities + in quests it would be making more sense have Traveler rdy up in your team, instead now, when within any dialogue he appear and after dialogue ends, he disappear.
Second way is make him possible to combine any elements - for example, you choose to use electro elemental skill for battery and anemo burst for elemental reactions and CC.
