    Hello, I have a kumquat tree that reverted to the original rootstock after an arctic freeze and the fruit is inedible. This tree is about 10 feet tall , it grows leaves
    But has mostly thorns. Can I graft kumquats back onto this tree? If so how low should I cut the branches ?

      @OGGardenista Good question.
      Actually, I once had a citrus tree in which the rootstock overtook the grafted lemon braches. I cut off most of the branches and turned this tree into a multi grafted (15 in 1)
      Cocktail citrus tree. So you can do this way.
      Personally, if you cut too low, it might not be easy for you to handle unless you have a good grafting technique. If interested, check out the videos on my channel.
