I had a warrior that made it to level 60... on the first day of TBC classic release. I was way too bored with mob grinding during classic wow's life cycle so I didn't play for months at a time and due to lack of knowledge, I didn't know which quests to get for maximum xp gains. Now that I know much more about the game, I'm already lv. 50 on another warrior in less than 2 weeks after creating it. I will not make the same mistake again, I hope to finally raid on the classic era servers for a change.
I'm currently doing the non-verbal and morbidly obese autist HC challenge. I won't interact with any players in any way and I'm going to go all the way to 60 without running or using mounts (because I'm too fat).
I'm also too heavy to be carried by gryphons and I have a WA that spams an alert every 5 minutes telling me to sit down to eat/drink. If I go 10 minutes without food my screen turns black & game goes mute, and I can no longer play the game. Conjured foods don't count.
I'm having the most fun I've had in years playing this game!
Watching these videos really has me wanting to resubscribe to give HC a shot. Keep up the great content!

i remember getting sword first time i leveled a warrior. it just looked best imo backthen, i had no clue how stats worked.
I forget the talents but if I remember correctly it gives a 5%? Chance to hit twice put with I godly chance of getting a hand of justice from BRD goes to like 7%? Big dam in packs
If Guzu doesnt get one of the weapons from Ulda or Maraudon, he really hurt himself with the sword meme.
You wont get another decent 2hander until the Musaik Quest in Feralas (small upgrade) or the Ape Quest in Ungoro, both around lvl 52.
Having to use WWA till then is annoying and feels really bad, but going with the sword ... thats absolutly brutal.
You basically have to take the staff from the Maraudon quest instead of Trash Blade, which would be a loss once u go fury on 60 and dont have Trash Blade.
This was fun and all but it could cost you alot later on

@@Oddwardx It really is sadly, I killed the same mobs with different weapons and tested it, what people say is sadly true and 124 max dmg vs 154 max dmg is a difference of a few more autoattacks each mob on average :/
Which also means the mobs deal more damage to you.
But maybe he isnt unlucky and gets a Uldaman/Maraudon weapon, else have fun till 53ish^^
or you take thrash blade and stay sword spec, and find a second sword and use it offhand, its incredibly busted.

Ya I used stoneslayer to 60. I think it’s pretty much bis for the grind to 60. U can switch to that gold lv 58 hammer with the spikes but u need to get that off the ah as I think u get it from like weird cache bag thing

If the sword had a more consistent talent, and not a 5% chance on hit, then I'd be more happy with taking the sword.
The axe talent is flat out 5% more crit chance which will always be there. Even the mace has a better talent than the sword, I think it was armor penetration? Ignoring 5% armor or something.
Basically the crit and armor pen is always there, so 100%, while 5% chance on hit is just 5%. Am I wrong? :p
Technically a crit is 150% damage while an extra hit is 100% both with a 1/20 chance at 5% so sword is more damage. Mace I thought was chance to stun.
The sword talent edges out the axe talent, but only barely. They are both a 5% chance of "double damage," either through a critical strike (200% damage), or an extra weapon swing (100% damage + 100% damage). However, the sword gains advantage because the extra attack can *also* be a critical, which would be 300% damage increase (100% damage + 200% damage).
@@subharmonicj8811 but the sword cant proc on anything but the main target. So sweeping strikes + cleave or whirlwind for example. I guess you could say axe is definitely muuuuch better for aoe or more than 1mob situations.

Weapon swing timer probably. Shows melee and ranged swing timers I believe
It does apply. The term would be “clipping shots”. If you search that term with hunter and classic there’s a whole bunch. ✌️

5% on all attacks +ppm is higher with slower weapon, WWA is the better play at that level since its on par with level 50 weapons but if you can get OEB/boneweaver from Mc then Ss is the way to go.

It's funny how he constantly tries to talk up the sword in situation where the axe would have been literally just better.
If he sees a big crit, it would have been bigger with the axe. Only if it does an extra swing from swordproc, it did more damage for the moment, otherwise it always did less average damage.

whats the point of playing "hardcore" if you have a hand holding leveling addon with an arrow telling you where to go, without any thought at all? theres nothing hardcore about that. its brain dead easy mode.

Idc what anyone says, I’m even levelinga war right now who’s lvl 46, dual wielding is where it’s at. Get deep wounds, and the rest in fury and you can’t go wrong. Even with sub par gear your gonna out dps a arms war. The miss chance goes up but it is nothing compared to 2h vs dw. I’ve seen many people complain about this but I have tried the whirlwind axe or sword o many mobs vs dual wield and everytime dw is better.
