Control Center is the most amazing feature on the Helix/HX platform. Right now I’m running my HX Stomp XL in stomp mode (which I never leave tbh) with “6 Switch” setting. 4 of them are just stomps, and 2 of them are toggling between my 4 snapshots (FS1 toggles between my two clean snapshots, and FS4 toggles between my two driven snapshots). This is the best way to for my needs.
Hey Jimmy, I think I found something out (accidentally). I think you can leave it in preset mode and assign snapshots to footswitches, practically putting it in snapshot mode. I think I also had mine at one point where if I click the mode button it takes me to my presets but if I hold it, it goes into snapshot mode. I also have an ampero 2 switch (I think it’s like less than 20 dollars on amazon) and it’s built like a tank. I put a boost on that.
Tell me how you got the snapshot on hold option! I've resorted to stop box mode with switches assigned to snapshots since it's not easy to flip between snapshot mode and stomp mode.
Not sure if shone else does this, but I have my XL in preset mode, and I do a preset per song, so each can have its own BPM and effects at church with 4 snapshots each for different “scenes” within a song. Typically I’ll have swell (which just does amp and my R1’s auto swell), ambient which has a nice dual delay and thick reverb, then drive, which is a light/medium halo reverb, single delay with less trails and my broken arrow on, then lead which has that, a little less delay, and boosts my amps drive. Then I can gain cycle my broken arrow and add the boost if I want. If anyone didn’t know, your HX Stomp doubles as a low level midi controller. Seeing as I only have 4 pedals besides my stomp, and only 2 of them use midi, it’s great for me

@ I’ll have to check my settings but I’m almost positive when I hold the mode button it puts me in snapshot mode
@@JackOwensMusic mine does what documentation says, enters pedal edit mode
Will there be a acoustic preset for the PodGo?
Thanks man! How frustrating that it doesn't boot up in snapshot mode straight away, hopefully they fix it in a future update

Or you can get a morning star MC6 Pro
❤❤
Can the xl be used like a pbc mastermind? And like a helix
In the midi sense, yes, but it does not have multiple fx loops for analog pedals.
@ missed opportunity 😂
