Ah surprised and happy to see Je Ne Sais Quoi here, it's so unusual! I have a sample and when I first sniffed it ages ago I love it, but haven't dared use it since as I don't want to use it up! This makes me want to smell it again now! If you like cardamon I reckon you'd love Sweetly Known by Kerosene - I got 4 different Kerosene samples recently and they're all amazing, very unique and memorable, but Sweetly Known is a major sweet spicy beast!
Je Ne Said Quoi is so special, truly unique and the smell of rice really makes me smile. It truly is so comforting to me. Good shout on Sweetly Known as I nearly blind purchased this recently and then got scared. You have me very tempted again, going to take another look now! 😂

I just got a decant of a new gourmand to me called Deen n Desire yacht by EBK parfums that you have to smell it is a fruity gourmand and i think it may be my favorite new gourmand im loving it. ❤️

Thank you. Even though Starlight is new, it is definitely one that makes me really happy. I’ve made such a big dent in a small amount of time, which is hard with a big collection. The other in the list would be Je Ne Sais Quois due to happy, sentimental feelings when smelling this. We eat a lot of Japanese food in our house and it reminds me of the smell of soaking rice before adding to the rice cooker. I might actually do a video on fragrances that make me happy / sentimental fragrances. ❤

I think they are both relatively safe blind buys as long as you enjoy the notes. What about Pop to me is very very sweet but then Princess is also sweet. Starlight is unique, it has a really strong Cardamom note but balances well with citrus too.
Hi Hayley, Could you make a comparison between Imperial Peacock and Oriental Enigma? Maybe you also know more about the other Art Nouveau fragrances. I bought perfumes based on your reviews and I was never disappointed. You manage to describe them so accurately. I'm happy I found your channel. Oh...and one more thing, I can't seem to find neither Babycat by YSL nor Possibilities- La Perla. I'm from Romania. Thanks ! :)

Question Hayley - Angel share or Grand Soir? 😍🤔I do like the smell of both of these fragrances but personally I’m dying to add Grand Soir to my collection! So frustrating it’s currently sold out everywhere in the UK (except MFK website)
Ahhhhh I would pick Angels Share personally. I do really like Grand Soir, it’s a beautiful classic but I would reach for Angels Share more. I have Nishane Ani and whilst it’s not the same as Grand Soir I don’t think I need both right now.
I almost blind bought Annick 5, but i got a sample instead, and thankfully so, it wasn't quite my vibe. Its gorgeous but just not full bottle worthy for me personally
@Marisa Mountaki I have both milk and Blanche Bete and they are 2 totally different scents. Milk dries down very woody as the Mahogany is very potent. Blanche Bete on the other hand is very lactonic with white florals, powdery, warm spicy, and mystical. It is very beautiful and I prefer it over Milk.

@@hayley.clough can you possibly describe it a little more? How prominent is that rhubarb note? Is it a sweet gourmand? For example, I also love vanilla 28 and angels share and obviously those are VERY sweet lol
@@hadesisbaby it’s a very sweet gourmand. The rhubarb and tonka are prominent as it’s the almond and vanilla. It is quite unusual and for me personally I can’t compare it to anything else. There is a few videos on my channel discussing this fragrance

I love both of those fragrances but I would personally pick Starlight over Velvet Tonka. I know I would get a lot more wear from Starlight.
