This is absolutely not my genre, never has been. But this song, this artist in general, oh my god. I love it. These harmonies are so complex and unique, I've never heard anything quite like this. The different textures are blended so well together in this song.

Why are people so quick to say TikTok will ruin it? Doja Cat (I know she isn’t Upsahl) said that she’s happy TikTok found her cause it built her career. Syra Blue which is fair but it’s a case of would you rather that not happen and be less popular (which means you’re not making as much money at youre job) or have that happen and have people find your music, potentially like you as an artist, and grow. Which in turn allows you to make more money.
Yeah sometimes you get locked into weird stuff but at the end of the day you’re still growing and gaining supporters. I dunno if that makes sense but I tried and it’s almost 1 am 😔
