Maya you are Jamaican! That is how I remembered my grandparents would take a lot of mangoes sit down and eat them! They never bothered with just one mango!
ABSOLUTELY...Poor And Poverty is a complete state Of mind...millions of fruits, Vegetables ground Provisions go to waste here In Jamaica Daily...No long Terms vision.
In so many other countries they have the same thing abondant of fruits and vegetables just go to waste the problem is so many of family are planting the same things
So what is wrong with that, they have to feed their families. I am quite sure that you would be criticizing them for not planting anything. Also many of the fruit trees grows from seeds that people throws away after eating the fruit and mother does the rest.
It is the same thing in other neighborhoods ,when I was a boy growing up in Jamaica 🇯🇲 my belly would be filled with all kinds of fruits that I would pick from the fruit trees before dinner time , mangoes, apples, oranges, ness berrys, guineps, grapefruits, guavas, avocados ,grew in abundance and go to waste every day in my boy days .
If him ever stay till mango season he would've confuse😂. Jamaica has has plenty different variety of mangoes but east indian mangoes and black mango are my favorites.
You are so down to earth Every time I'm watching your video It's on the big screen TV But sometimes I'm glad when I have my phone so I can leave a comment Enjoy
I have two East Indian Mango trees at home here in Saint Andrew. Plus my neighbour has a Blackie Mango tree that has a few of it's limbs hanging over my yard.
Wode, Make sure you get to have a fully ripe on the tree East Indian Mango and the same for a Julie Mango, you wont regret it, no better mangoes in Jamaica.
That's not the truth that j'cans doesn't eat mangoes that aren't picked straight from the tree. Unless things have changed since I was growing up in Jamaica 🇯🇲. That was a long time ago anyway. Happy to 👀my My young brother is having fun as he deserves. *ONE LOVE 💙 ❤🎉😅*.
Actually Wode, mangoes prefer hot dry climate, therefore Kingston and St Cathrine are the best areas for mangoes, Kingston not traditionally known for mangoes but still remain the best growing conditions for them.
It depends on the type of mangoes as not all types of mangoes are available in every parish. Kingston & St. Andrew also parts of St. Catherine have the best Julie and East Indian mangoes, so don’t dismiss them.
@l360b Really? I was born in St Thomas, and we've never eaten them half ripe with salt, etc. Where I'm from, we ate them fully ripe from the tree. I left St. Thomas in 1988, after Hurricane Gilbert
@@patricktaylor5802 me used to deh Kingston in community wid whole heap a people. had a big Bombay and and a East Indian in my yard, ripe mango couldn’t stay on the tree from constant raiding, I used to get up early morning to go catch the ones that fall over night… mi love it.

You should pour some salt in the water to kill the germs because you did not get it straight from the tree
We flavor mangoes with salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
St thomas
I think Trinidadians do that, not us, and they eat them green also, not us... We like to eat them natural
@@cosmicwisdom999 In St thomas we aeat them with sugar or salt when they are turn/half ripe. Not hot sauce

Never pick up a mango off the ground.
Why is that?
... unless he plans to eat it at night? 🙃
