- Padengi Batata Gassi is a delicious and spicy green gram gravy from the Mangalorean cuisine. (Padengi = Green gram, Batata Gassi = Potato Curry). Sprouted Moong and potatoes are cooked in a rich gravy made of coconut, roasted spices, onion, garlic and tamarind.
