Pull the yarn from the middle of the top end of the yarn. It comes out like butter and you’ll never have to unwind it that way ever again!! And you don’t need the yarn winder if you do it that way. Saves so much time!
This is a phenomenal tutorial video. I'm strongly considering picking up the equipment today and start making rugs. Is there a special type of yarn you need to use for rugs or is it softer the better?
The first 2 rugs, I wasn’t sure about how much pressure I had to apply when tufting and the 3rd one I was more confident and put way more pressure and felt more comfortable! All part of the learning process, your first few rugs aren’t going to be perfect!
