I love these Ball workouts! My residents giggle through routines and it's such a great way to get them moving. Their favorite part is throwing the balls at me after we are through! :) Thank you!!!
Unfortunately, have fallen away from daily exercise routine beyond daily yoga. This was great way to re-introduce new movements. Just the right amount of stretch, challenge. Thanks.
This workout is a great place to “start again”. Great for range of motion and keep you moving! I’m so happy you tried it and like it:) Keep up the great work!!
Your workouts are my go-to strength training videos. You have helped me soooo much and am stronger than I’ve been in years. Thank you so much for focusing on senior health. I love you! 💕
Oh Janice, I am so happy you enjoy my workouts and they are helping you! That makes me so happy and proud! Keep it up and remember I am here for you! Love you, Meredith
I just did this for the first time. Since my muscles were a bit sore from doing resistance exercises the last two days, I thought it would be an easier workout to do today, more like the stretching videos. I was mistaken. What a good workout! I could feel it in places that I don’t usually feel. I guess that showed me it is a good idea for me to vary different exercise videos to get the full benefits from each of them. Thanks again Meredith.
I’m proud of you for doing the workout and feeling your entire body work! Great idea to vary the workouts to get the whole body working and feeling great! Keep it up Diane!! I appreciate you so much! Take care, Meredith
@@SeniorFitnessWithMeredith I have been looking into buying some of the bender type balls like you are using in the video. Some come with a pump and some don’t. Do you know how hard it would be for someone like me who is 73 years old to blow it up manually.
@@SeniorFitnessWithMeredith Thanks for your advice. We are still under lockdown due to Covid here in Ontario, so I can’t go into a store to buy a new playground ball. I do have a ball that I bought a few years ago when I was having a lot of pain with a bulging disk. I was going to a physiotherapist and I bought a kind of soft ball with little knobs on it at Walmart to do some back exercises that he recommended, using the ball in the small of my back against the door. That is what I have been using, but I thought a bender ball might be better, but was worried about getting it inflated and keeping it inflated. I just saved myself some money.🤗. You are truly invaluable!🥰
Thank you Patty! I am so happy you enjoyed the workout, and it helped you ROM. I do love the air ball for that very reason:) Keep up the great work! Take care, Meredith
Iam 64 ,right hip , left knee replacement, but I am trying my best to do your vidios . I want to lose a little weight so bad. Love the way I feel when we finish set.thanks , mike
Thank you Meredith. I have been unable to follow you for the last 6 months but now am hopefully back in the swing of things. I have really missed your exercise classes and now feel so unfit so hopefully can get my strength back up !
I’m proud of you Diana! You will be able to get your strength back up in no time, just keep up the hard work...you can do it! Always remember I am here for you!!
Did not want to lose my workout momentum so I had to modify my video choices due to a broken toe that is now wrapped and in a boot. I am still able to do the resistance bands/weights, and the playground ball with out any problem just leaving out any movements with that foot. So looking forward to getting back to my normal videos and routine in the weeks ahead.
Nice workout - but in the beginning you march "in the amble" - which is the wrong way - its not counterbalance. Also when pressing the softball, you are holding it to high, it should be lower to mid sternum. But still - nice workout for seniors.
Hi Deborah, thank you for the comment. The ball is at mid sternum level but possibly hard to see that in the video. Also, holding ball at different levels will work different muscle groups. It’s not always a bad thing to change the level. Enjoy, and happy holidays!! Take care, Meredith

I find the ones already blown up keep air longer and are better. I use just 50cent small playground balls purchased at my grocery store.
