This is THE most complete and well done tutorial that I've watched during the last 3 years! The intersect option will save time when making stencils. You clarified my confusion about using the contour feature with print then cut by changing the object to a cut file. Thanks! Honestly, this is THE BEST learning tutorial. Thanks! I was having trouble with off set. I added an off set, foiled the word then it cut out each individual letter rather than just the bubble. Now i know to flatten it first! Perfect.

I would like to purchase a book with all this in it. Your presentation was the best complete tutorial I've seen so far. As much money as you pay to own one of these machine there should be a detailed book on design space without purchasing these or using TH-cam .

Yep, new to the cricut. My daughter gave me her air 2. I was completely lost as she is a full-time nurse and hasn't had time to take me thru what she knows.

Thank you. I used your adding the box shape technique to learn how to crop a letter in a word. (The first letter didn't cut right and I just needed to recut one letter.) I am surprised that Cricut doesn't have just a crop feature, rather than having to combine two images to do a slice. But your video made it very easy.

I haven’t used my cricket in a long time but this is certainly going to help me to get going with it again. I use my silhouette mostly. I did try to upload some DFX files from your website without success. Can you give me a tip to make the download smaller or connect faster? When you talk print and cut, do you print it on your regular computer printer and then load it to cut with the Cricut or does the Cricut print it?

I have a question about font sizing. How do you know what size font to use in a project? I always get confused. Do you stick with sizing the box or is there an easier way. Please help.
The size of your font will depend what you are making and the size of the object it is going to be put on. I recommend measuring your materials and you can make the font that size to fit perfectly. - Brittany

How do you use score and basic cut on cardstock
I just bought an Expressions machine second hand cause I could afford it and it's my first Cricut machine, I'm assuming that Design Space won't work with this much much older model?
Hi Ricky! Cricut Expression machines can be connected to Design Space. This allows you to design and cut projects from your computer, tablet, or phone. Connecting Cricut Expression to Design Space is easy! Just follow the instructions in the Design Space app or on the Cricut website. - Dawn

I have been playing with my cricut explore 3 and have a question. If you download an image, like a stethoscope, and it has a word like nursing in it and you want to change that word to pedi is that possible, or does it have to be what it is?

So to make stickers you need to flatten your images or is that for when you are using offset?
Hi there! Yes, the image does need to be flattened for the PNG and then machine will cut around the shape. You can add the offset as well! - Dawn

Had a design and typed in a one-word text. When I welded, design turned into a splotch. When I flattened, design and text stayed but couldn’t slice. What’s up?

I love my cricut but recently I added the new cricket design space and I’m very frustrated with the whole thing and I went to go back and get my old cricket design space app and it was gone so now I don’t know what I’m gonna do. I don’t like the new cricket design space there’s hardly anything on there I I just don’t understand why they would change it . Can someone please help me?!!!!
I'm following the video and downloaded the file. There is no SVG. What do I do?
If I want to make an svg to be a png how would I do that. If I use an svg into a png will the svg have to be a print and cut
Depending on your program you can save a SVG as a PNG, the SVG would not have to be print and cut. - Brittany

Hi there! You can highlight the entire SVG and then click flatten in the bottom right hand corner. It will then automatically change your cut to a print. - Dawn 🙂
Can you use acricut with a samsung chromebook 4?
Chromebooks do not work with Cricut Design Space. If you access HELP in Cricut & type in Chromebook, you’ll see they do not work on Design Space. Sorry.
