This is an excellent review video. I really loved the results of the charcoal blocks, the black was so dark..the leaflet was packed with great info by the looks of it, looks like this art pack is worth buying. Big like from me Amy : )

great review. I've always thought that General's were a decent product and a great value. I do have some pencils I like more, but then they also cost a LOT more. :)
By the way, your rose turned out really nice. I like the mottled background you created as it added a little variety and visual interest.

Am I the only one that didn’t realize there was a bigger Generals set like this that also comes with carbon!?😂 I’ve always found these open stock or in tiny packs at art stores! Thanks for making me aware of this set Amy & great review and rose demonstration!

@@AmyLouiseArt for some smooth texture we have to blend by brush layer by layer right ??? This process we can apply on 200 gsm paper ??? 😊 Because its quite rough and textured paper am i right ??

Hmm I’ve just checked too and I’m having trouble myself finding them. I think generals charcoal is an American brand and they have an account on Amazon but whether they’ve sold out of that set I don’t know. Yes, that’s fine I am amylouiseartwork on Instagram 😊👍🏻

I find that most of these break when trying to sharpen then, by razor, sandpaper, or hand sharpeners. "6B÷xtra soft brakes continuously. Anybody else with this problem????
Charcoal will unfortunately because the lead is a lot more brittle. I sharpen mine with the superpoint manual sharpener and it helps a lot 😊
I bought a special sharpener for charcoal pencils off amazon today... it got good reviews.

these are extremely crappy pencils, i have bought multiple. these pencils break continuously. i dont recommend these at all. at first I thought I was me. i was told I probably dropped them. thats why the led is breaking every time I sharpen. i used multiple methods to sharpen. dosen't matter they break all the time. they'd do more good in the garbage. I wouldn't buy them is they cost five cents
