(10) Open Cup Galaxy Pour! | Acrylic Pouring - Fluid Art | Black Hole Galaxy

Today's pour is a galaxy themed pour using the open cup method, I love this technique! It's a great way to create cells WITHOUT using silicone!
All my paints are mixed with Floetrol 2:1 with a little water added for consistency.
Canvas size is 12 x 12
All colors today are by Artists Loft:
-flow acrylics black
-flow acrylics red
-flow acrylics blue
-metallic cobalt blue (the BEST color ever)
*My base coat is a mix of a bunch of colors that I scraped off a failed canvas. There was a little gold in that mix, so my base coat does have a little metallic in it.
I over tilted this one a bit. I would have loved to keep the "black hole" in the center, but it tilted off the side a bit. The best way to avoid this if doing this method yourself, is to use a corner catcher, such as a piece of cardboard, when tilting your corners, it helps you get more control over your composition. Overall, I still love how this one turned out!
