At the start of year, it didn't look like it was gonna be that great of a year music wise from Oli seeing how we didn't get a release until May with the Memory Loss ep but he really turned it around and ended off the year pretty good with 2 suprise soundcloud singles in an older more familiar sound but new touch.
Just like last year, 2022 was pretty snippet heavy, all the way from the first week of January down to just a week or two ago after he got home from tour and all the different sounds/styles he was doing as well. The first snippet is technically from last year, in the 2021 compilation comments I was told about a song from an artist called Ekkstacy and he had a song with Oli as the feature. I wasn't aware of it and didn't have audio at all and the video had already been posted. A week or two into this year I got hit up by someone on discord who had the entire audio recorded from and Instagram live Ekkstacy did and he shared it with me. I've assumed it was gonna be on his album Misery but when it dropped 3 months ago it wasnt and when asked about it he didn't really even remember he had a song with Oliver so the fate for that song releasing in full quality isn't too good. If you're interested in hearing the full song thought it should be on TH-cam or soundcloud somewhere.
For those who didn't know yet Oliver isn't under a label anymore, as of September 1st he's been independent again. Some think the label was forcing him to do the "emo/rock" songs but he told me in dms that that's not at all true, its just what he wanted to do at the time, they didn't force him to do anything at all, empty promises kinda deal. I think Oliver has learned from that whole situation and he's made it up to us the later half of this year with Hijinks, Jolly Ranchers, pond scum, two soundcloud singles. Also me and another member in the archive have been working with Oliver the last 2 months to send him all of his old albums that aren't on streaming so that he can put them on. Not sure what that process will be but he told me to send him everything. We can probably expect some of that in the coming months, as well as his long awaited VIOLENCE album that he wrote during quarantine of 2020 and finished last year in May. Few weeks ago Oli tweeted out saying he's going to drop it when he gets home from tour, and I asked him about few days before Christmas and he said he's gotta get the album art made for it, it'll probably be January, but that tweet he made is still public and I'm holding him to it.
Communication with Oliver this year has been really strong and I think it's going to be really good 2023. He's trying to do everything for us fans, for those who aren't in the archive, things aren't that simple 2 was being worked on earlier this year and turned into Hijinks eventually, he told me he was going to set the idea aside and come back to it because he didn't wana force it and I think it was a good idea for him. In a IG post he made he said he had some pond scum b sides coming out and more hijinks music videos soon. Oliver definitely wants to do tats 2 but he wants to do it justice and I think he's going to just slowly put it together, I doubt it's going to top the original but I believe he'll do it justice like he said as long as he doesn't force it.
Aside from everything else if interested we also got a new deleted 2014 song called "Think I'm Q-tip" with a feature from another artist called slvter. A member of the archive Bloosdafoo got into contact with slvter and he still had the song on his computer so he emailed the song over and just like that we leaked it a week or so after. We will continue to look for deleted songs and when obtained re release them for the community to listen to.

Favorite part of the new year, listening to oli snippets. Glad I found your channel last year and joined the archive and experienced the whole archive and the updates/announcements from Oliver. Sadly that particular snippet won't see a release. Oliver told in me in dms that he took that verse and put it on a different beat but that snippet is hard for sure

He said probably January or February. He has a few things to sort out still like getting cover art for it and probably some other small stuff but as of the songs and stuff they're all done.

For sure. He's already dropped like 4 songs in the last month. He got another boom bap song coming out this Friday which will be on pond scum b sides. He tryna make up for the beginning of last year

It's sadly unreleased. And he told me that he put the verse onto a different beat so if it ever drops it probably won't be this version of it

Yea, a good bit of these actually have been released. The point of these is to show all the snippets from the entire year, plus that snippet wasn't posted anywhere else since it was sent to me directly from Oliver in dms 6 months before the song came out.

Yes, he said he would drop it. He told me he has a few things to sort out with it like cover art and probably a few other small things but the album has been done since May of 2021. He said he would drop it when he got home from tour, he told me in dms probably January or February. Idk don't spam him but tweet at him and be like "yo where's the violence album" gotta keep reminding him that we want it

Cee do you know if oli will fully release “the plan”
The plan is from 2019 and the state that it got leaked in is all that existed which is why it wasn't put out onto CROWN OF DEATH. I highly doubt he went back and finished it at all and he definitely wouldn't now since it's been 4 years already.
When me and him talked about putting CROWN OF DEATH b sides onto spotify, the Plan was left out of the conversation because it's only a 40sec verse, if there ever was a finished version of it he'd have to find it which isnt worth it to him. So the only songs going onto CROWN OF DEATH b sides is

@@JFD99 yea trust me back when it was just a small group of people who had all the leaked songs before they got leaked to everyone else that was my favorite. Just gotta think of it like we weren't ever supposed to hear that at all, so even just having 40ish seconds is really cool. Can't really complain about it too much
