This video is great, thank you. I almost died last summer on this trail. climbing up to the ridge and on the ridge is really tough and I run out of water, I had been alone for 2h and I decided that going alone to the portal trail tired as I was would not be a good idea. I decided to go back to the gemini road and back to Moab. It turned out to be tougher than I expected with sand dunes and wind, it took me almost 4 hours without any water. Luckily I could make it back to Moab. Damn, I suffered that day. Thanks to this video I can show my friends where I was.
Awesome channel Nate🤘🏼 Just right on the edge between goat and MTBiker 🤘🏼love to see you getting on all those gnarly lines, and the best, hearing how much you enjoy them.
I see your sponsored, you should do a video of how you started out, id also like to know if you have guides that are leading you around and how often do you go through tires?
+09Roush Thanks for your interest. I have been racing mountain bikes for 12 years, 8 years professionally. I am lucky to have friends all over the place, so when I travel, there is usually someone around to ride with. As far as the tires go, I go through about 20 sets a year. Riding rocky terrain is hard on tires...

Moab can be brutal if you run out of water. Sounds like you need to go back for redemption. Glad you made it out.
That's making my nuts tingle watching you ride that close to the edge of that cliff! Sick lines!
INSANE!!!I kept leaning to my right so I wouldn't fall off
An incredibly gorgeous place. I envy you ....

Are you carrying 'chutes in your backpacks that you don't seem to care if you fall off a cliff? You guys are insane... and really good!!!
Not sure how to feel about the most replayed part. Perplexed might be a good word!

How is it so smooth?
+thebman90 I am using a steady cam gimbal rig with my GoPro 4.
+Nate Hills is this an off the shelf kit? or home made? it looks amazing!
+memphisrainesgallery Off the shelf setup, attached to my GoPro chest mount.
+Nate Hills could you give some more details? I have looked but not found anything... Cheers!
+memphisrainesgallery If you Google "GoPro Gimbal" you will see several options depending on your camera and how you wish to mount it.
