    Is there any possibility of powering the BlueROV2 via the tether as opposed to an onboard battery? Is the main limiting factor the voltage and cable size needed?

      Hi Karl, we have that possibility available in the Outland Technology Power Supply, however it's fairly expensive because it requires sending power at high voltage with a thicker tether and adequate safety features. bluerobotics.com/store/comm-control-power/batteries/otps1kw/

    Very cool!
    If I lived near a suitable body of water, I'd likely get one of these. The price seems fair.
    Thanks for the video.

    Hi blue robotics. Where can I learn more about how to make a distant display unit and the controller for R.O.V .?

    What is the max dive depth you can do with it and can you mod it to go deeper?

    • @BlueRobotics
      @BlueRobotics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, with the standard acrylic tube, it has a depth rating of 100 meters, but many people upgrade to aluminum tubes for a deeper depth rating. What depth are you looking to go to?

    When are you guys going to make one that can support a real cinema camera like a Red Komodo with a Vazen PL Anamorphic lens?!

      Hi Shawn! We don't have plans for that specifically, but we'd encourage you to check out our forums - we have a category called "Third Party Products" where our community is actively discussing integrations of all sorts!
