very big big spoiler for s1 in season1, Armand didn’t presented himself as the vampire Armand, but one of the staffs that work for Louis: Rashid. When Daniel realized this, he then proceeded to continue call Rashid the human ‘real Rashid’
I don't understand why they changed the story so much. Daniel should have become a vampire at a young age, Armand should have fallen in love with Daniel and made him a vampire. Why are Louis and Armand lovers? Louis should have loved Lestat more. (Although Lestat loved Louis more in the books, he would never hit Louis, for example) There's probably a purpose to these changes, but I don't see how they contribute to the flow of the story. I think Armand has manipulated Louis into thinking Lestat was more abusive than he actually was. This is why he’s so insistent on hovering throughout the interview, because he’s worried Daniel is going to poke holes in everything. I presume Armand will be exposed, Louis will go to find Lestat, and Daniel will either die of old age or more likely be turned by Armand.
