    Its crazy seeing how gritty the city was back then. I mean its still not that clean in certain parts, but in the Gentrified parts of the city its like night and day difference compared to even 10 years ago. Bro, you got any old footage of jewtown and maxwell street?

      Great old videos.
      Brings back old memories. Joe Butera (Pac-Man) had some old videos too. Good stuff. I remember when Gangs were referred to as Clubs! Sweaters and all. Wonder if you ran with Gaylords or PVP’s?

      @@danielcampbell9457 separate nation, the Stoned Freaks were a real force to be reckoned with… White Monks not so much, I have to say I only heard of the White Monks because one of my Chi-West OG’s brother ran with them in the 1970’s.

    By 1994 that hood was reckless. It was still nice in 86, I was 11 and lived on grand and Laramie 5 minutes way

      @ you hit kostner, Cicero, Laramie and armitage is grand. Call it 10 but to me that’s not far at all. We used to ride our bikes to Pulaski when we were like 8 and I’m not playing, my cousins lived thru those hoods.

      @ imma just drop it, not worth arguing about… I truly wish it was 5 minutes, I had to take that route to Humboldt Park for quite some time, Armitage was always backed up because of stop signs and red lights.
