Maxing 2 is a must. Maxing 1 seems to be a popular option for high level players/pros. Don't think he should get destroyed for that. Maxing the 3 is just wrong though. Edit: heck, even the #1 Scylla dude maxed 2 and 1 first.
he's just getting angry for no reason, sometimes he has great points but like the time he didnt ult skadi. skadi wasnt on a ward or anything he had no vision only a idea skadi was around and only using ult for saftey is super common too. just not a great narration on this
I think Weak3n's perspective was accurate with regard to the Scylla but also a little narrow in this game. Every critique of Scylla is accurate. However, Scylla's team lost nearly every other role and created negative pressure which meant Scylla being able to carry was much more difficult and despite this negative pressure, Scylla still didnt feed and still did a ton of damage. Now I agree a plat Scylla with blink who leveled ult last had the opportunity to carry but made bad decisions and did not play aggressively so she didnt carry. But if you take a step back and instead of beginning with the assumption that Scylla should stomp, you are left with a more passive playing scylla with strong damage and few deaths and looks like a typical passive plat player. Maybe Scylla would have looked a lot stronger on a team that wasn't creating negative pressure. And I know weak3n would say that playing passively and safe doesn't win games and that Scylla is not in ELO hell because she didn't rotate and impact the other lanes and that strong players are ones who win not just their lanes but also win other lanes. But I also don't think she was awful and Im not surprised that a passive plat scylla played semi-consistently with plenty of room for improvement and while doing big damage , wasn't able to carry her losing team. Scylla's Cern fed Heim and had low overall damage (also building titan's bane last in an auto attack build that already has exe, qins and dominance is maybe not the best), Scylla's Terra died 10 times, built prophetic 4th and never stacked it and created little impact all game and her ne zha died 11 times and also played pretty sloppy. Yes on paper her team had an actual front line, but Terra's build was so squishy until item 4 at 27 minutes that the enemy team who got ahead with a higher damage comp was able to shred her and ne zha while cern missed ults and didnt contribute. This was not an easy game for Scylla to carry. She absolutely could have, especially if she used her blink, played more aggressively and leveled her ult so that she actually killed multiple people with it, but her team played poorly. I don't believe in ELO hell, I think that in order to climb you have to carry and that this game was carryable. Where I disagree is that I think this scylla makes total sense as a plat player, and that a little bit of coaching on where to make different decisions and when to try and make plays could turn this Scylla from plat to diamond pretty quickly. And that's what I look for in Weak3n content, I want to learn what the opportunities are that Im missing that will let me carry losing teams because learning how to carry losing teams more efficiently will help me climb ranked
Yeah! Little long but love how thorough this comment is. I'd also like more focus on when and where I should be rotating and when I should be trying to make plays.
Nah, even disregarding his leveling order, lack of ulting or blinking, playing off the team, missing like 3 penta's, giving up free fg's and countless other one off mistakes. He made many small and consistent mistakes that I refuse to believe plat players make, one example is eating an ability from Merlin every time the waves met. I think there may have been 2 waves in the first 10 mins in which he didn't get hit by merlin or skadi. His positioning in lane was abysmal, he barely farmed, his awareness basically didn't exist. Obviously I don't expect all of this to be at a high level but noticeably better than that of silver. You have to realize that all these mistakes were very evident even though he was 1000 mmr higher than them. For comparison, you go up 1k from where he is ranked you're against a borderline GM, realistically with this much of a difference in skill he should easily average 20+ kills with barely/if any deaths regardless of how his team did. I think he's a high gold player but plat seems inflated for that level of skill.
@@patrickwitek Good points about other mistakes the Scylla could have improved on. You're definitely right about him consistently eating Merlin poke. But still I think all of this makes sense for a low plat player. And I feel like if you put a Diamond Scylla in the exact same game where their cern is feeding, their Terra is nonexistant and building squishy and their Ne Zha is struggling to be impactful, they might not carry either. Like if you repeated the exact same game 10 times with a diamond Scylla and 10 times with this "Plat" player, I think the all silver team would still win a majority of the games whether they were against a Diamond Scylla or this "Plat" Scylla. I'm just curious to hear which exact moments Weak3n would point where this Scylla making different decisions would have allowed for a carry. (Other than the ults that could have been doubles or triples if he was leveling the ults).
@@elijah1333 I think this is a lower level mistake where passive players know the relic they should go in order to carry and they buy it but then they play too safe and too scared to use it. Also lower level players rely on playing off of their teams, so if this person's team wasn't losing so hard, we might have seen the Scylla actually start blinking. I think the vast majority of Smite players know how to capitalize on a lead and play from ahead. What separates the better players, is being able to be impactful from behind and knowing when to make plays and calls from behind that can turn games around. I say that as someone still trying to learn how to turn games around when my team is struggling and its up to me to make some magic
Maybe Weaken should do this. Play 5 games; 1 with bronze players only, one with silver players only, one with gold players only, one with plat player sonly, and one with Diamond players only. Put himself in his own elo hell. Should win every game. This would create opportunities for Weaken to recognize if other players are carrying (against him only) he can give them a chance in a later elo hell video. This would help against all the players who thought the Scylla carried and was held back by their team. Its very easy to miss judge by the 41k damage and the 14/4 kda. Those players need to recognize or be shown what Weaken is trying to show us. Best way to do this since we haven't had anyone good enough to prove themselves is have Weaken do it himself. This would be a good base line for other players to refer too, especially the ones trying out for elo hell. That this is the expectation. Weaken can set the base line.
I dont think platinum is a big enough difference to stomp every game in silver. Platinum in silver can simply wait for inevitable mistakes, and i think thats how a lot of people climb... waiting for enemy mistakes (which will happen)
Your ideas for these videos are amazing. Always fresh Also, this video is clearest showing that kda has nothing to do with how good of a player you are. Love the videos!
I think k a good perspective of this is. When you are in Elo hell you are expected to carry tge game, but in reality you can't carry a 1v5 even if you are in diamond level. You may be able to win more fights outside of your lane but if my solo or duo hasn't gotten a single tower or kill at the 20 minute mark it's borderline impossible to win the game. And if you play safe and strategic you will be called out for afking and pressured into getting bad habits.
I level all of Scylla’s abilities normally with the exception of taking the FINAL point in both the 2 and 1 before the next rank in ult. I still put points into the ult when the decision isn’t between a max rank ability and the ult….if that makes sense.
Tbh the 3 let's you teleport with just 1 point and all you get it mp5 if when it's out then you have it on cd for no reason when you may need it to gtfo.
Haven’t watched the video yet. If this is a real simulation of true “elo hell” then my guess is the plat player will play well and still lose. That’s what elo hell is; when you keep playing well and still keep losing because this is a team game and there’s a lot more factors at play than personal performance.
Well to be fair, the scylla did hit the ult on skadi early, the thing is he didnt lvl the ult and had like 1.2k gold in hand so it did barely 1/3 of skadi's health. But for real not maxing the ult is insanity, dude even maxed the 3 before !!!!
I have a idea for Content, if you can get them controller vs pc but with the people that have 500 or below MMR, to see what platform has the better lowest MMR players
I can kinda see maxing the 1 early cuz it hitting 3 people kinda huge (especially when i play scylla support) and since the lower level players dont really do objectives so the secure aspect is w/e but the 3 def not and also with a ne zha/high cc for guaranteed ult set up makes no sense
This kills two birds with one stone. Validates higher elo hell players to allow them the chance to prove themselves against lower elo players before they play their real game. And then allows lower players the chance to prove themselves against a higher elo team/player providing you another player to spectate to see if they should be put in a game against players of the elo they believe they belong too. I was just talking to my friend about this exact situation before. People that get carried to high ranks and just get to enjoy the life of good players keeping them around there. It's how I felt when my low Diamond MMR was getting me matched with diamonds while playing with plats and wondering how the hell these people ended up in the same game. Just the insane game sense. Watching hunters miss dozens of autos a fight. Watching mages toss spells at walls. Haven't played ranked in a good 6 months and don't plan on it until the next hard MMR reset. I'll stick with being around low diamond/high plat and be happy with that until then XD
I want to see a game where he’s the same elo as the enemy ram but his teams elo is way lower so that way we can see him supposedly stomp while the other 4 players get curb stomped. It ain’t easy to carry a game when your teammates are just that bad
I admit to maxing the 2 for the passive bonus when I was first learning Scylla, like 7 years ago, but never in my life have I seen someone actively avoid leveling Scylla's best ability as hard as this dude. That's something I can only imagine a 800 mmr person thinks is ok. Not a goddamn plat player
Yeah I could kinda see it up until the 3 was getting levelled over the 4.... that shit is fucking crazy. But like also, scylla ults is the most pop off, fun part of her kit. Like don't you want to level it and getting multiple procs of it? ESPECIALLY AGAINST lower tier players and ESPECIALLY against a Skadi, anubis who don't move lmao
Solo laning phase is the easiest. Worst case scenario you can sit in tower line and be behind in gold but just catch up later Mid the is bridge, they get the most ganks done to them Duo is the VIP target for ganks because setting back the ADC is the difference between a W/L
bro the guys going 8-0 fragging his ass off and weaken absolutely tears him apart.. i think this is just an easy way for weaken to bully the community. yes the leveling of the skills was wrong, but holy hell the dude fragged his ass off and weaken didnt say ONE good thing about him. guys 8-0 and weaken said "hes in elo heaven" literally 68 times this game. i wouldnt turn to weaken for SHIT at this rate.
edit: Man I wrote a whole thesis as to why Plat mids are just shit and so he's actually performing to that standard but nah, he's definitely in elo hell lmao. Leveling the ult last is whatever cause maybe he was trying to style on them or something since he knew we'd be watching but wtf is up with basically never using it. He dropped like 3 penta's this game p.s. Heim wasn't that good, if you look at 28:50 yeah he's 8-2 but he's also level 16 at 22 mins. KDA doesn't really matter when it comes to elo, yeah silvers ran into him like minion waves so he picked up a few kills but it's evident he's lacking the ability to farm etc. In a higher mmr he'll just get stomped
@@Weak3n Sorry weak3n, I had to edit my previous post after finishing the video lmao, there is no way this guy isn't in elo heaven. Also you're absolutely right, with this much of an advantage he should have been punishing them really hard. There's also many mistakes like bad positioning for waves early so every time he'd eat an ability from merlin etc. all this adds up and realistically those aren't mistakes a plat is making.
Coming back to Smite after 3y break. Anyone kind enough to explain what ELO / Elo Hell / Elo Heaven are as I forgot … amazing content Weak3n, you are the reason I am installing Smite again as your vids make me want to play again :)
ELO refers to a numeric value that matchmaking is based on ELO hell referring to someone who supposedly is better than their elo is, and is “stuck” at their current rank because their teammates are all terrible ELO heaven being the inverse, where your ELO is inflated beyond your actual skill and you are surrounded by players who basically carry you thru the game

Difference is I know how to react/play when I do miss something. No one is pretending you hit 100% of abilities, but it is a problem when you can't even hit 50%.... you all have the most awkward criticism that you can't even explain
I’ve always levels her 2 to max first then 1-3-4. Her passive makes the difference in the dam you get for just the ult upgrade but you keep that extra power for everything
Yeah, no. That little bit of power doesn't account for the extra 100 damage you get out of her ult per level. The point of a burst mage is to BURST. Not trying to be mean, but it is very apparent as to why you're in low end gold if this is the mental you have in regards to a burst mage kit. This video is the perfect example to that, since dude missed several multi kills into teamfight wins into objective takes simply by not leveling his ult before the 3.
Nah it makes so much sense now in my games i swear sometimes ill watch someone hit and actually land an important ability and im like "WHERE TF IS THE DMG" I look at their level and they arnt behind i look at their build and its solid and im just so confused as to why it did no dmg....i never considered they were simply leveling the wrong abilities lolololol
Masters mid here...I like to level the 2 then the 1 then the ult on scylla but it depends on how the game is going. Your extra root damage makes up for the lacking points in ult, but if I have teammates I level ult.
Is there any reason he is holding his 2 out for longer than normal? Whats the reason of not insta popping it? For example he threw it out way too early on the gold fury and instead of popping it to get it back on CD, he just held it and I believe the gold fury ended up getting leashed out of his 2 so it didn't even do any damage. Another time was him and Terra were in mid while gold fury was being done by red team and instead of just fast clearing and going to gold he just threw his 2, stared at Terra and wasted so much time.
You should do a series sort of like the nuzlocke but where you have to play with any god of a certain pantheon, and when you lose with any god of that pantheon you have to move on to whatever pantheon you get next.
This is the epitome of someone that just plays like an assassin and gets a bunch of kills and thinks they are good. They don't help the team at all and just kill steal and wonder why they lose every game.
Maxing the 1 over the ult is reasonable. Pro players do it all the time and the #1 ranked Scylla from your videos did it too. Maxing the 3 first is definitely troll though
I think maybes Scyllas expectations were higher than they should’ve been. In plat she probably has to play safer so a lot of her plays were of a plat mindsight and being on the safer side.
not enough people use those started actives enough. Horn shard is so good on ability based gods and no one seems to use it even though they equip it. It can get you early kills.
I think it's a matter of, outside of the prot shred shard, it's the only one that you see no immediate impact from. The other shards immediately do something upon activation that you can physically see (no I'm not counting the power change you see in the bottom left with power shard)
i need help i am not getting the fps i was getting before was getting 150 now im getting 70-80 and it drops alot all my drivers are updated im running a ryzen 5 5600x and a rtx 3060
I ended up in elo hell one season cause I started late and just couldn’t win a game even dropping 20+ kills my team would not listen or follow up and always chased I tried every role to get out and the one that let me finally get back up to diamond was support I found out if you had one decent player and you could support properly that’s all you need against shitters cause let’s be honest silver/gold supports typically don’t play right at all and fuck you over cause those low mmr games last forever so eventually it’s you vs 5 full builds but yeah if you want out learn how to support and find the best player on your team keep him alive and maybe him and someone else will listen and you can get out of that bs Edit: For me tho elo hell isn’t silver tbh gold and plat are a bit elo hellish silvers you can typically go a hyper carry and just play jungle and should win
I think you expect way too much from them. Yeah, he's 1000 mmr ahead but he's still plat, he's not a mechanical god or even a gamesense god and his jungle was way worse than the Skadi jungle. His support was pretty much throwing and ended the game at level 17 with 10 deaths. His leveling order was indeed trash and buying blink but not using it was troll.
The Scylla didn't play atrociously bad or anything but I agree with Weak3n that he is not way above this lobby. Why did he buy blink and just not use it ever? Why was he playing so far back in fights when he has 2 strong frontline characters + a ne zha for setup? It just felt like he wasn't playing confidently, especially in the mid to late game. I understand the safe play and the safe pathing early because Scylla's early game is weak. But I cringed every fight seeing him not use that blink with the root + poly autos. If he wants to get better he needs to just play way more aggro on the god and play with confidence, even if its fake confidence.
elo heaven checks to see if a player is boosted elo hell checks to see if a player is held back elo purgatory/ego hell checks to see if a player is hardstuck
As far as maxing root 2nd. Not sure in what order the games were played but the #1 Scylla did max root before putting another point into ult as well to be fair
When they did a hard reset to ranked a while ago my friend got put in plat and he said every game he just got bitched at by his team 😂😂😂😂. He's definitely not a plat player, more like high bronze to silver.
tbh since picked for elo hell is not far away from a "free" coaching, i guess many free stuff grabbers try to get this :D Funny Video, laughed alot ty :D

@@LegitSav Yeah of course, but he was skipping out on the ult points for the 1, you can't do poor Scylla like that lol. And the 3 before the ult is straight wild
I usually level 2 then 1 first and then go for ult. I use her ult to pick off low gods anyways and having the leveled 2 and 1 asap gives you more damage from the passive and also the extra usage from the 1. I’m going to try and start leveling ult asap and see if it makes a difference.

watching this live was a treat, keep it up
I want to see you do an elo heaven game. So how is what it’s like stomping 1000k lower elo game. Show us how it should be done.
I will watch every single elo heaven match you release I love this
Solo is the hardest lane because you have to fight not falling asleep
Faaacts
Solo laning phase is the easiest. Worst case scenario you can sit in tower line and be behind in gold but just catch up later
Mid the is bridge, they get the most ganks done to them
Duo is the VIP target for ganks because setting back the ADC is the difference between a W/L
33 minutes in and we are now rooting for the one plat player in the lobby to hit their basic combos. What a storyline 👏👏👏
bro the guys going 8-0 fragging his ass off and weaken absolutely tears him apart.. i think this is just an easy way for weaken to bully the community. yes the leveling of the skills was wrong, but holy hell the dude fragged his ass off and weaken didnt say ONE good thing about him. guys 8-0 and weaken said "hes in elo heaven" literally 68 times this game. i wouldnt turn to weaken for SHIT at this rate.
i wanna see weak3n in a game like this
You should do this with lower level diamond players or lower Mmr master players the amount of shitty players in those ranks are wild
I know he was thinking "my teammates are trash" 😂
Most definitely, all he did the entire game is hide and wait for them to do all the work , absolutely 0 aggression or engage by him
How'd a cute girl like you end up getting into smite?
@@GamingCentralTV1 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
IMO the difference between silver and plat is not that different. Diamond is where you can really start to tell who knows how to play the game
Lol someone needs to make a meme of weaken begging him to ult 😂😂😂
19:22 when she keeps going after you’re done
edit: Man I wrote a whole thesis as to why Plat mids are just shit and so he's actually performing to that standard but nah, he's definitely in elo hell lmao. Leveling the ult last is whatever cause maybe he was trying to style on them or something since he knew we'd be watching but wtf is up with basically never using it. He dropped like 3 penta's this game
p.s. In a higher mmr he'll just get stomped
most this, but if you have a 1k mmr advantage you dont just wait around and hope your teammates set you up
@@Weak3n Sorry weak3n, I had to edit my previous post after finishing the video lmao, there is no way this guy isn't in elo heaven. Also you're absolutely right, with this much of an advantage he should have been punishing them really hard. There's also many mistakes like bad positioning for waves early so every time he'd eat an ability from merlin etc. all this adds up and realistically those aren't mistakes a plat is making.
No shot this man wasn't lowkey a paid actor, or better yet, Mindys' troll self. 😂 This was hilarious. This was hard to watch. This is anti elo hell.
On a quest to find Hell our fearless theologian Weak3n has inadvertently discovered Heaven.
This series might be better than elo hell.
19:13 I knew this video would end up with Weak3n loosing his mind 😭😭😭😭
Coming back to Smite after 3y break. Anyone kind enough to explain what ELO / Elo Hell / Elo Heaven are as I forgot …
amazing content Weak3n, you are the reason I am installing Smite again as your vids make me want to play again :)
ELO refers to a numeric value that matchmaking is based on
ELO hell referring to someone who supposedly is better than their elo is, and is “stuck” at their current rank because their teammates are all terrible
ELO heaven being the inverse, where your ELO is inflated beyond your actual skill and you are surrounded by players who basically carry you thru the game

@@bullcherokeee Thank you lots for the explanation, really helpful :) Wish you happy smiting !
Why every mid lane player u watch always just live in mid with no rotations
Hindsight is 20/20, I see weaken consistently missing the same abilities he complains about others missing lol.
What rank are you?
Yeh this was my thinking. It’s extra damage overall instead of just dmg on a ult which, while not desired, can be missed.
@@orbitmonstaa5796 low end gold right now but I just switched to M&K and hoping I can jump up to plat
@@tristanhull9388 should def lvl up her ult instead…
No point levelling the Ult if you aren't ever going to use it! My guys saving his Ult for his next game
I like this series! I will keep watching if you keep making
weak3n do you think it would be better for me to switch to mouse and keyboard and be dog water for 2 weeks, or just stay diamond on controller?
You should do a series sort of like the nuzlocke but where you have to play with any god of a certain pantheon, and when you lose with any god of that pantheon you have to move on to whatever pantheon you get next.
Didn’t number one Scylla video level abilities 2,1,4,3? Or am I smoking some good stuff?
Yeah that should be the standard order
I couldn’t watch this to the end 😂😂😂 Rip Scylla
Imagine being Scylla and not even TRYING to secure FG.
i need help i am not getting the fps i was getting before was getting 150 now im getting 70-80 and it drops alot all my drivers are updated im running a ryzen 5 5600x and a rtx 3060
Isn't leveling Scylla's 2 then 1 then ult normal because of her passive. (Leveling her 3 before her ult is crazy)
Elo hell absolutely exists.
“I’ve seen everything there is to see” 💀
I feel like he watched the number one Scylla vid you posted and just decided to try to play and level like that I haven’t seen his build yet but lol
Solid idea
I like the comment of him playing 800 MME. Hell I am only Gold IV I'll take a bullet and get destroyed in game 😂
I ended up in elo hell one season cause I started late and just couldn’t win a game even dropping 20+ kills my team would not listen or follow up and always chased I tried every role to get out and the one that let me finally get back up to diamond was support I found out if you had one decent player and you could support properly that’s all you need against shitters cause let’s be honest silver/gold supports typically don’t play right at all and fuck you over cause those low mmr games last forever so eventually it’s you vs 5 full builds but yeah if you want out learn how to support and find the best player on your team keep him alive and maybe him and someone else will listen and you can get out of that bs
Edit: For me tho elo hell isn’t silver tbh gold and plat are a bit elo hellish silvers you can typically go a hyper carry and just play jungle and should win
I love the hate on him for the unranked ult, fucking hilarious. But you are right.
You said Scylla's early game is bad but then said he's not doing much. What should he be doing, knowing her early game is bad?
early game is level 1-5
I think you expect way too much from them. Yeah, he's 1000 mmr ahead but he's still plat, he's not a mechanical god or even a gamesense god and his jungle was way worse than the Skadi jungle. His support was pretty much throwing and ended the game at level 17 with 10 deaths. His leveling order was indeed trash and buying blink but not using it was troll.
As a main scylla player this actually hurts to watch. Soooo many missed opportunities
Elo heaven is caused by premades. An example of this is Inbowned carrying Wraithyn.
elo heaven checks to see if a player is boosted
elo hell checks to see if a player is held back
elo purgatory/ego hell checks to see if a player is hardstuck
As far as maxing root 2nd. Not sure in what order the games were played but the #1 Scylla did max root before putting another point into ult as well to be fair
When they did a hard reset to ranked a while ago my friend got put in plat and he said every game he just got bitched at by his team 😂😂😂😂. He's definitely not a plat player, more like high bronze to silver.
What is ELO hell?
How do I join these elo games my player name is Lastloki and im 900 mmr lol!
tbh since picked for elo hell is not far away from a "free" coaching, i guess many free stuff grabbers try to get this :D Funny Video, laughed alot ty :D
"i've seen everything there is to see", still havent seen actual elo hell :D
Saying mid is harder then support is the dumbest thing I ever heard
I’m my opinion, that loss was 100% Scyllas fault.
ULLLLLLLT!!!!! he held it so many times.
i level the 1 more than the ult. I like getting the passive and holding ult for runnin away or easy kills. dont level the 3 over it though lol
Every kill is an easy kill when an ability easily does 800 damage midgame????
The biggest difference between silver and platinum is game knowledge and positioning.
I want to test myself in elo hell, I think I’m currently in gold. I’m more so curious what my skill level is at currently
it is gold
@@that1panther105 lmfao
33:38 I disagree I think his team got worked. All his team did was feed heim all game and the ne zha was getting out-jungled by a skadi.
You also have people never commit and just clear wave only.
Bro, lowkey Weak3n was pretty fuckin hard on this guy lol
i didnt watch this whole game but from the parts i did watch i didnt see him land a single 1 or a 1+2 combo
Weak3n can you please make stream at different time? Because there is no way i can see you on twitch because the time you stream i am about to sleep time.
Which video is Zombi's elo hell?
I dont play rank but now i wonder how i would do
Love this idea over other big W
I played wit zombie for like 3 games, i think he is in elo hell. Im at 1200mmr and his was like 998 or some like that. Bro was going dumby
My poor Scylla getting the 1 maxed out early 😭
This is straight copiume. So many high level players max it second... Including the #1 Scylla weak3n showed a few ago.
@@LegitSav Yeah of course, but he was skipping out on the ult points for the 1, you can't do poor Scylla like that lol. And the 3 before the ult is straight wild
These videos are hilarious
I usually level 2 then 1 first and then go for ult. I use her ult to pick off low gods anyways and having the leveled 2 and 1 asap gives you more damage from the passive and also the extra usage from the 1. I’m going to try and start leveling ult asap and see if it makes a difference.
Level the ult when you can after the 2. The extra root is not more valuable than the insane base dmg that can help you ult reset.
