Here is America I rarely see women wearing hats..you look absolutely gorgeous in your green hat.. you have that shape of face..your channel is very professional and I wish you all the best 😊😊
I live in USA/ Florida and I love hats I became a nurse so I could wear a hat. I wished more people in the us would wear hats. I wear a hat when I’m out . Already had skin cancers removed good luck with your hats. I love them. If u sale brined hats in the summer you should sale the hat keepers so u can attach to your purse when you go inside and it frees up your hand.
To sell that many hats should be considered a great success. Your hats are beautiful, but people don't realise how difficult it is to sell something. I think your hard work (not forgetting Mr Hat) really paid off. Congratulations 😊
I have only recently discovered your channel & you & "husband" are a delight! Your hats are absolutely breathtaking! How exciting to have your lovely designs on display in a Bond Street shop!
I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this journey with you. I was so happy to hear that you did well and sold numerous hats. Wonderful Vlog and thanks so much for sharing.
LOVE the hats with the bows. 💕… also, the one you‘re wearing towards the middle or end of this video (black with white feather at the back). You have a lovely, whimsical feeling to your hats. All the best!!!
WOW....Just surfed in to your site....Most delightful....You have great TASTE....ENTHUSIASM....and STAMINA....You'll be a BIG SUCCESS....I'm an Abstract Minimalist painter of too many years experience....My artist's eye was VERY IMPRESSED by your labours....!
Love your cat ..and your husband is a sweet heart. I hope you had a wonderful show! I embroider and so have hauled boxes to shows, very exciting, but wearisome too!
My Mom was a millener and your hats are beautiful! Here in the US it seems people only wear cheap baseball hats!! 👎🏻 I personally do not own one myself. Great video!!💜👒
The first thing that came to mind when I saw your green bubble beret was Robin Hood. Then that led to the Sherwood Forest Beret. Wonderful videos! Congratulations on a successful week!
Fun video, I so enjoy all the hats. I don't have a clue what to name the green hat but it's my personal favorite. I can only think of ...green with envy ...or something with "envy" because I would envy any woman wearing it. I'll be looking forward to your next video.
Maybe you need some photography as part of your display so people can see how the hats work in practice. Maybe that's why they're interested in the ones you're wearing.
I’m so happy to have found your channel!! I love your enthusiasm & passion for your craft♥️Thank You for sharing your knowledge with us, I’m having so much fun watching!!!
I just started watching your videos and would like to say your enthusiasm is infectious. Your style ,presentation, and business sense is exciting to watch. Mr Hat is so kind with giving his support and a helping hand, kudos to you both. I like the way you think ahead fo formulate a plan to market and sell your designs, very savvy. It would be easy to name your green beret after a leaf or blade of grass, as it does have a sort of sharp point to it.but I thought if they are made in different colors it wouldn't fit. The folded twirl decoration you've added does remind me of ribbon candy they sell at Christmas, and since they could be in any color.....how about calling it the ribbon taffy beret. So sweet. I think also your marketing idea that more people should try to wear hats should be stated....Why not try a hat. It is fun to watch your videos, thanks so much for learning the fun of hats.
Snow!!! im so jealous!!! and COngratulations on selling so much. Its a great feeling re couping costs and some time isnt it. When I sold xmas cake at markets from Oct to december, it was just mad...and i would spent the next day smashed in bed. It is exhausting.
The 'spears' on the beret could be interpreted as a 'spear' of grass, so perhaps a name related to a plant with long leaves? Perhaps 'Bromeliad Bubble Beret'? ;) fun alliteration, too
You are so well spoken and seem positive, fun person to be around 😊 I wish wearing a hats was more popular, your creations are pretty! Do you have a stationery shop in London?
If you buy in Hat Boxes for each Hat sale, you will sell more so buyers can keep their other hats in as well. Or you could make a production line of Hat Boxes for add on sales. I need a good hat box for storage of hats. There’s a market for such.
I just discovered you and enjoyed every minute of your video. I knew nothing about millinery and learned so much. You probably have named your spear beret by now, but if not, this is my suggestion; SPERET. I have subscribed and look forward to watching you. 🙂
Hi Ilona i am absolutely hooked watching your channel - i have just started selling my fascinators and would love you to blog how you package and sell the hats - do you bag them or box them?
Hats seem fine for nice, smaller, delicate faces but what about those of us with more extreme features? Think Sophia Loren without make-up & coloring good for older women ( no black).????
Hi, So... I need to do something about not getting notifications. Anyway now that I've seen this I'm up to date on your TH-cam... I think (se below). I have no name to suggest for your speare decorated green hat that couldn't be a copyright infringement (Green Arrow) or very bad taste. Think of a certain quite recent book by a future king's jealous brother, use a upper case letter of the descriptive embellishment on the hat, and run and dial of the bad taste up to max. Not a good idea, I would think. Have you shown that beige-ish semi large hat with a thin band on it before and I've still missed one of your posts? It reminds me a bit of a Chanel hat, or a lampshade from the 1970s, if it had been in orange plastic and depending on how your mind is warped, that is. I really like it, your hat not the orange lampshade, but I couldn't see it in your online shop. I'm looking forward to your next video. Yours, Ann
Hello Angela, of course you can, I would recommend something small - like a cocktail hat - with a bit of shine, so made with silk velvet or with some embellishment. You've made me realise I have a product gap in my collection! I'll have to create some for next season 🎉
Here is America I rarely see women wearing hats..you look absolutely gorgeous in your green hat.. you have that shape of face..your channel is very professional and I wish you all the best 😊😊
Green outfit at about 8 mins is breathtakingly lovely!

Hat name for the beautiful dark green beret: "Vert de Paris" Discovery of the day. I love naming hats. Who knew?
I like that
Perfect.
How about 'Bon Beret'?
Loving that!!!

“If it works it’s not wrong” is such a good mantra. There’s so much gatekeeping about what milliners are “supposed” to do.
LOVE the hats with the bows. 💕… also, the one you‘re wearing towards the middle or end of this video (black with white feather at the back). You have a lovely, whimsical feeling to your hats. All the best!!!
You are exactly correct, you sell what you wear!❤❤
That snow was barely a dusting! Love the hats.
This is absolutely wonderful & I love how you & your hubby work together like a real team 👏👏

Battle beret 😊 sounded good to me❤ shaun 😊

another great inspiring video , thank you Lona, husband and cat:)

Love all your hats Ilona. ❤Wish wearing hats like that in the US was more of a thing. Thanks for sharing. Love watching ya!
I admire your enthusiasm
As a non hat wearer-I love your videos-fascinating-wish you all the best-I’ll keep watching
How exciting to have the front window! I hope this experience was very good for your business.

GORGEOUS hats. Next time I‘m in London, I‘ll have a look!!! 💋✨🥂
SO interesting!!

I like your video. Fantastique, bravo !
I wish I knew you before. I would have visited you on New Bond Street. You look so beautiful and elegant. I love you both.
Hi this is definitely my 'favourite2023' video of yours. Very inspiring as a fellow milliner!
Truly beautiful hats!
I’m happy for you 😊😊😊
Well done ❤ you only make the best thing

Loved this video, and great tips for stalls . Thanks for sharing your experience.
You are so welcome! 😊
I love your creations. Keep exploring styles. Perhaps more floral accents?!
I'm a new subscriber but I really love your vlogs! All of your hats are so freaking gorgeous, and so are your outfits!
Hello! Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I am so glad you've found my channel 😊 Hopefully there'll be more vlogs coming soon 📹
@@ByIlonaMillinerywhat did you think of Princess Anne’s hat? At Coronation! Thought it wrong to wear tall Feathered hat!
You look beautiful in that green hat!
Are you on Facebook?
The bubble berry spear hat could be called "Bubble Sprout" because the green spears look like little sprouts! 🥰🥰
Love this! ❤️👒
Spearberry
I like your pointy witch hat.
hat is essential for me during summer. I can't go out without hat
my eyes are too weak for the sunlight
Awesome ❤️!!! Keep up the Great Work!
You are delightful
Any chance Spearmint Bubble works as a name for your green spear beret? Great channel, such fun.
My suggested name for your pretty, un-named hat: Ready-Steady!
For the green hat, "Lucky Bubble"
The 'spears' on the beret could be interpreted as a 'spear' of grass, so perhaps a name related to a plant with long leaves? Perhaps 'Bromeliad Bubble Beret'? ;) fun alliteration, too
Very clever! I like it 🌿
Always loved hats....🕊🇺🇲💕

Lovely, engaging vlog! For the green hat with spikes that sold so well.. sharp cookie?
Please stop saying you are tired.
Constantly on the go”. Fantastically busy”. 👒✅👏🏼
Make your next pop-up closer to Ascot Race Day.
I’d name the green spear hat “She’s The Boss Beret” because I’d feel powerful and strong wearing it
I feel pretty powerful wearing it too - great idea! 😊

Hello Linda! Surprisingly it still has no name! I quite like your suggestion 😊
@@ByIlonaMillinery Perhaps SPEARET spelling is better.
@@lindalaliberte8704 It could also be "frenchified" like most things in millinery: SPEARETTE
@@ByIlonaMillinery Tres bien! Au revoir. 😀
Drusilla making a wonderful appearance again I see :)
If some people think your hats are too expensive, what would they say about the price of Emily-London hats?
Hi Ilona i am absolutely hooked watching your channel - i have just started selling my fascinators and would love you to blog how you package and sell the hats - do you bag them or box them?
If you could get someone famous/royal to wear one of your hats.
Anything one of the royals wear sells out very quickly.
Vintage Berry/ + colour.
As in Magenta Vintage style Berry.
Since the green beret has an arrow, you could call it "Going Places".
Beatrice and Eugenie wear various headbands.
Sharpened bubble
Or "Spearmint" due to the the spears on the hat.
Beret beret sharp
Thanks.😂
I thought perhaps'Bon Beret'.
Hats seem fine for nice, smaller, delicate faces but what about those of us with more extreme features? Think Sophia Loren without make-up & coloring good for older women ( no black).????
Hat name: asparagus beret

Can I wear a hat at an evening summer wedding reception?

I am a hat lover but I would never buy any of these hats!!!
