The bell is so the cat doesn’t eat birds and mice and hack them up later.The bell scares prey away.
Ahhhhh. I was more worried about an animal going after her if she can’t be stealthy.

Funny you took the bell off your neighbors cat and I want to put a bell on my neighbors cat! He comes in my yard and kills my birds! He is a sweet cat, but I don't want him to kill the birds I feed!!
