Only dropping points into melee, if they give us actual melee animations and finisher animations, which was a downgrade or retrograde from FO4 and Skyrim, instead of what released vanilla Starfield. FO4 has more melee animations than Starfield, and it's a shooter rpg too.
I may give Starfield a second chance if Shattered Space and anything after it fixes the major issues of the game. There actually is a small chance when you re play through that the consolation npcs are randomized. Apparently there's a chance of them all being babies 😂
Yeah the idea that they didn't want the player to miss content and NG+ completely oppose each other. In my play through Barrett died before I completed his companion quest and was the only reason I had to consider starting a NG+ but its nowhere near enough for me to bother. It needed a lot more like that in the game and also with choices having impactful consequences and new story/quest paths wouldn't have hurt either. Good to hear you again Buzz! couldn't get into Helldivers ;) Very excited for the new content, truly hoping they can also do something about the loading screens, Outlaws tried, but you actually have longer loads, but animated so it looks like you are doing something, I was hoping they would introduce minigames as loading screens, maybe some virtual circles you have to manually fly through when you take off or land, little mini docking games when you dock with a ship or station, just something as opposed to watching loading screens, animated or not.
One thing that doesnt seem to repeat in the game is the plasma weapon plasma scorch dissipation. If that could be used to change the rock load formation on planets, planets would look less procedural.
It would make the game better if they added more unique locations on more systems and added more derelict ships and stations with stories around the settled systems. However, with only one major update and the addition of the vehicle, it hasn't been a whole lot of what I have wanted. I would even consider buying more content as a DLC if they were to add it.
I think it just needs good writing more than anything.. The dialogue just felt repetitive, cheesy, and I don't know. Like they have no idea what to fill up the universe with so it's nothing interesting. They needed to hire some real life science fiction authors or something cause I just felt like every mission was written bad/boring.

I just hope they learn from their mistakes and moving forward they give us more handcrafted content to explore I’d suggest adding on to existing cities to make them feel more “alive” and immersive.
3 times I tried playing it. 3 times the main quest kepy breaking. Reloaded large chunks. And it remained broken. I'll give the game another go come Christmas time or start of next year. Restart from scratch. But i've never had a worse experience bug-wise with a Bethesda game. I do love the atmosphere and unique look of the tech so i'll give it yet another chance.
@@zerotheg0d330 There is actually but the gear goes up in ranks depending on a leveled enemy you get a unique weapon or armor you pickup. They need to add much more instead of less. DLC only gets little of it. I wanna see different varieties of armors and weapons similar to the mantis.
I think this is going to be a lot better then maybe some are thinking its going to be hence them staying quite on it regarding all the details. I personally think the base game with the improvements and mods has made the game a lot better in recently months. I'm looking forward to this :)
6:35 Maybe... Just maybe, they are finally adding in powered armor. That would be epic. Not as epic as god damned doors between habs and outposts, but still.
All i'm saying is that unless they greatly improve the shipbuilder , i won't buy it. They just took away the only thing that helped us builders by patching out "glitching modules" without any reasoning why. And the vehicle handling really sucks... i mean *really* sucks.
As a long term Bethesda fanboi. I just found it weird hearing "storytelling" referenced as a Bethesda thing. That has always been the weakest link in their games going all the way back to Morrowind (be it presentation, execution of choice/consequence as well as plot. (the earlier games were even less so). Bioware is where you went for storytelling. Bethesda's main strength has always been letting you experience a game through multiple character types, giving you a path to follow for virtually any archetype. That's where all of their main dev time goes. Everything else is essentially a tool to utilize that formula. Hence why the storytelling itself is weak. That are too many narratives to follow for any single one of them to be of high quality.
Got 1 more rank to max out melee. I'm looking forward to using that new sword I'm seeing and do a melee build with some cool looking varuun armour. Hopefully it will be better than my hunter starborn armour heheh nothing I ever find beats it atm. Even made another ng+ just to put on serpent's embrace. I'll be sad if I get no special dialogue from the trait on Varrunkai. Doesn't seem to be too much instances thus far where I've used it after 4 hours of doing missions and re- romancing Andreja, but we'll see soon yeeyee can't wait. If possible I will join house Varuun just not on the Zealot side and instead become an Ambassador for peace! Through violence of course 😂😂😂 Lessgoooo
looking forward to the starfield update, not looking forward to the mods being broken lol hopefully starfield holds up as well as skyrim. once its dlc is complete and bethesda is on more of a support role for it, hopefully modders go insane like they did with skyrim. starfield has the potential to be the BEST bethesda game there is on modern systems, but we need to modders to do their thing.
Modders will go insane because they can sell paid mods. Every good modder is in the program and almost every mod they make is now paid, usually grossly overpriced like $5 for some spells for Skyrim or $2 for a single gun that is just an asset flip from the unity store.
@@nidungr3496 "paid mods" have been a thing for a lot time. they never stick very well so im not too worried. i think a lot of the modders are just waiting for full release of all dlc before they start in on it cuz they dont want to update mods 100 different times lol
Its still very much a nope for me, especially with prices. an DLC that costs as much as many games and the base game price still being ridiculously priced, I'd rather spend that money on other games.
Starfield on my PC is stuck at 1080p! The game is completely broken for me. No matter what I do, it always reverts to 1080p and glitches out. I'm done supporting these woke devs either way, though. I have no interest in anything they do at this point.
Only space game i know that has seamless surface to orbit transit, is Star Citizen which is mostly a ponzi scheme and has 1 system. I don´t recal playin a space game where there is no loading between systems or surface and orbit ect.
I forgot all about SoyField. I was bored 20 hours in. I think i got maybe 100 hours in before i turned it off. Theres litterally nothing Bethesda could add to make me play starslop again. Shit tier game😊
That is your choice but the only reason you're typing that is to get likes, admit it. People have different opinions on games and I refuse to give my opinion on it online as my take on the game is subjective, as it is for everyone.
One thing I will say is that Bethesda games are best played with Mods, and now that they have fixed the FPS issue, the vehicle added. This DLC and all of its new content, I think people need to give this game a chance! I played over 185 hours on the game in the beginning, and now, with these extras being done, I think it's safe to say another 50 hours can be squeezed out of it! Thank you, LtBuzzlitebeer.
Yeah but most mods still aren't that good for this game plus Skyrim/Fallout has a least a somewhat enjoyable game at bare minimum and mods enhanced that. With this game, unless I see a mods that overhaul the games combat, adds a billion new weapons, massively expands the skill tree, gives us unique new companions and not just replacements, tons of new POI, creation club that doesn't update just to break mods, etc then MAYBE I'll go back.
@TT09B5 I see your point but at the same time it's only been a year since the games release. I hope someone or some company is making something like Lorerim or London but for Starfield! I guess only time we'll tell...
I wish I could get excited about this. I should be the perfect target for a game like this, but this game was such a disappointment. I get more mystery and excitement from discovery and exploration in Sea of Thieves than I got from this game at launch. Could not believe how incredibly bored I was playing this game. And I'm not saying this to be dramatic or mean, I just was that bored. And yet I'm the perfect sci-fi nerd geek that this game should have had locked in. I was so excited when I first heard that Denis Villeneuve was doing Dune, and I'm even more excited about Rendezvous with Rama being made into a movie. I am that galactic explorer geek. So when this game was announced, I was so excited as well. Until I played it. I spent over a hundred dollars on a game that I quit after 50 hours in disgust (and the final 40 were only because people told me that it got better after the first 10). It was sooo painful. Glad to hear they are making it better for folks, but the issues I have with this game are in its bones; they are foundational. The issues I have with it are not something that they'll ever be able to fix with DLC. I paid for Premium, so I'll get Shattered Space when it comes out, as part of my original purchase price. But to be forthcoming, I'd gladly give this game to someone else if I could. I just can't see ever picking it up again. There are too many good games coming out that are far more deserving of my time. If Bethesda wants to remain in it's past (and this game only reminds me of games from 10 years ago) it can do so, but I'd rather spend my precious time with games that are truly engrossing and tell a story, rather than procedurally created mazes with stale cheese as rewards. Why they remain locked on this graphics engine is just beyond me. I know that quality graphics and quality story are not the same thing, but for the price paid I expected both and got neither. I am part of a gaming family and this game cemented our current motto "Never Bethesda". We'll never buy another Bethesda game until and unless we see proof they have crawled out of the dark ages. Any properties they have now that are any good are ones they acquired through mergers. Their core products are dead. Last good thing to come out of them was Fallout 4. Since then it has just been disappointment after disappointment (my daughter liked Doom Eternal, but as a release-day player for the original Doom, I couldn't get past the platformer aspects they added (and who's kidding who?, id Software may be owned by Bethesda, but they are not Bethesda). For Bethesda's sake, and especially those of your who choose to pick up the game now that the DLC is coming out, I hope it's enjoyable for you and worth your time. But for those on the fence, please be sure and play a friend's copy if you can, to make sure it's really what you think it is before you plop down your money.
I don't think the game was boring if you put a hundred hours into it. And if you're just getting bored now then that makes sense 100 hours in any game can be a long time I think I've only done that in a handful of games and I've been gaming for 40 years
The game needs NMS levels of salvaging and fixing. But I doubt Bethesda has the integrity for it. A dungeon is fun, sure, but it's not gonna fix the rest of the game. Played Stellaris in the past few days, and man, space can be SO much more than what Starfield shows, it's downright pathetic what Bethesda delivered. What prevented them from having a space-Kvatch, where a precursor space ship jumps in, nukes a planet and jumps out again. And when you find out why, it would be something like an ancient contract, from like 5 million years ago, that says that the owner of the planet has to pay dividents for its construction or it will be removed again. Oh, wow, a space cult, how awesome. So creative.
For myself it can't get here soon enough. There are people that don't like the game, to bad for them. I can actually say I love it. Up close and personal I want it, I want to have the shit scared out of me, again and again. Here is hoping BGS knocks it out of the park.
After all the hours I spent going through boring progression and plots, while “fighting” incompetent AI enemies that only become difficult if you make them bullet sponges… unless this DLC is free I’m out. BGS has fallen far from what it used to offer
It's a good game, but as long as the game isn't released on PlayStation, as long as cheaper PCs can't play this game due to lack of power and the game isn't on sale at a bargain price with all its DLCs, it will never be a " good game." And, in the meantime, TH-camrs like this one, will be here taking advantage of any event related to this game to make another video, in which they say what the haters of this game still want to hear and see, as none of them want to recognize that, after a year has passed since the launch of the game, if they continue to be a hater of this game, it is because the frustration of not being able to play this game is still a reality. And hate is nowadays a very fat cow that is worth it for the Yoytubers to milk very well, as it makes a lot of money. Those who like the game, don't even waste much time watching this channel, they prefer to spend their time playing the game. That's what I'm going to do next. Bye!
The reused asset whining is the worst. There 1,000 planets. Each will have multiple zone that are as large, or larger, as Skyrim. Guess what, assets will be reused! Just like every other massive, explorable space game ever. There is no other way to do it because to each planet with even a modicum of fidelity (which would have lots repeating) would take a server farm, like Microsoft Flight Simulator requires.
I only lasted may an hour or two in game when it first came out and still don't feel the need to play when a game loses me it loses me,(and yes I'm commenting on a game I don't play anymore but I get notifications from LT. So here I am)
@@lorddrakkon5336yeah watched someone played and I was like “boy I dodge a bullet” shit looks bland and empty, I was like “no aliens?” Yeah I went back to fall out 4, now I’m big worried about Skyrim 6
Thank You for pronouncing Andreja's name correctly 😅 I have literally unsubscribed to TH-camrs because they refuse to pronounce her name the way she even pronounces it herself.
Am I the only one who worried the fanatical Zealot story will be boring. I hope not as i enjoy starfield, but I was never really interested in the children of atom stuff in Fallout 4
Starfield is not going to be elevated out of "Mixed" reviews by more of Pagliarulo's writing. No, I don't think that "Getting rid of loading screens" is the answer- they're necessary for the Creation Engine to function in the context of a game like this. >Perk overhaul >Point-of-interest overhaul >Make named NPCs not-immortal (Starfield is MADE to be replayed) >Make some questlines lock you out of other questlines- Siding with the Crimson Fleet locks you out of Law Enforcement quests, for example. (Again, Starfield is MADE to be replayed) >More variation of randomly-generated NPCs >More variation of random encounters (if I run into the singing Irishman one more time he's done for) "Erm, mods exist" is very valid- if the base game is already worthwhile. Forgive me for not having the urge to mod a mediocre experience into a decent experience.
The game launched feeling a bit bare bones but the foundation for a superb game is there. The core gameplay is solid and the art style is beautiful, come on Bethesda you got it in you to make it epic
Wait wait wait. They release an entire game built around deep planet exploration, but didnt put anything on the planet. This NEW DLC!!! is just 1 updated planet? Sad day for Bethesda
It's improved, and as you say, much better. Having burned out on all the nerfs in Helldivers II, I thought I'd kill some time in Starfield until a new game caught my eye. It's actually been kind of refreshing to play a game that's getting improvement, instead of one that's being torn down before our very eyes. I've enjoyed and appreciated the new Quality of Life stuff and some of the new content. Heck, I've enjoyed some of the old content! I'll be hanging around until Shattered Space, and I'm actually excited about it. Like Skyrim, or ANY game, it's not perfect, no game ever is. If you don't like it, quit whining and go play something else. Heck, go try Helldivers, they're having a special on over-buffed weapons this week.
". Like Skyrim, or ANY game, it's not perfect, no game ever is. If you don't like it, quit whining and go play something else." Bad take, as for one there is no such thing as perfection (name one thing that is) but there are games there are far better then starfield. Your last part of that sentence is very "Don't question and just consume". Also by your "logic" no game should ever have any sort of feedback or criticism that we should just give up on a 70 dollar games and just move on to the next game with out saying anything.. yeah right
@@TT09B5 Nope, I'm saying that sitting around and bitching about it changes nothing. Just makes you look childish. If you don't like a game (and you aren't the dev), either suck it up, or go find something you like. Life is too short to play games that aren't fun.

Hmm dimensional portals... Sounds like a good moding opertunity to do some cross over weapons, armors and POIs
Could lead to alien threat and allies to be introduced
I want space zombies.
I'm still having fun with it.
I just hope they learn from their mistakes and moving forward they give us more handcrafted content to explore I’d suggest adding on to existing cities to make them feel more “alive” and immersive.
Thanks my man I was wanting to get a better idea of what we’re looking at, I’m not one to put in over 100+ hours then call the game boring!🤣😂
Not the best game , but the best ground vehicle in any game is the Nomad from Mass Effect Andromeda .
Loadingfield
Bought an Xbox just to play Starfield. Played 5 hours and never touched it again. Gave that Xbox to the neighbor kid.
I did the same with my ps5 it was becoming a dust collector
We need more weapons. Also would be cool to add more function to food and cooking recipes
Could we possibly see a Vaaruun Starborn?
Maybe a Starborn that went New Game+ too many times and went crazy.
They should add an option to turn off leveled loot like ubisoft did with breakpoint.
There is no leveled loot what are you talking about ? There's damage numbers but there's no "level" next to any gun ?
@@zerotheg0d330 There is actually but the gear goes up in ranks depending on a leveled enemy you get a unique weapon or armor you pickup. They need to add much more instead of less. DLC only gets little of it. I wanna see different varieties of armors and weapons similar to the mantis.
I think this is going to be a lot better then maybe some are thinking its going to be hence them staying quite on it regarding all the details. I personally think the base game with the improvements and mods has made the game a lot better in recently months. I'm looking forward to this :)
looking forward to 9/30 release I am going to make a New Game so can try it out in starting universe (keep my ng4 as well)
6:35 Maybe...
The rover and the mako are definitely cousins
They need to add NMS style flight in
getting Destiny vibes
Zero faith left for bethesda, definitely a wait and see for anything moving forward.
*But will the great serpent return?*
Great video, editing, and VO! Only you can make Starfield look fun. Now, that's talent. 👍
Any new ship parts?
looking forward to the starfield update, not looking forward to the mods being broken lol
hopefully starfield holds up as well as skyrim. once its dlc is complete and bethesda is on more of a support role for it, hopefully modders go insane like they did with skyrim. starfield has the potential to be the BEST bethesda game there is on modern systems, but we need to modders to do their thing.
Modders will go insane because they can sell paid mods. Every good modder is in the program and almost every mod they make is now paid, usually grossly overpriced like $5 for some spells for Skyrim or $2 for a single gun that is just an asset flip from the unity store.
Alot of big name moders are waiting for the DLC to drop before going all in since creation engine only released 3 months ago
If starfield coming to ps5 is guaranties 60fps maybe it will come finally on ps5 is a 1 year old now and the dlc coming why not
Only space game i know that has seamless surface to orbit transit, is Star Citizen which is mostly a ponzi scheme and has 1 system. I don´t recal playin a space game where there is no loading between systems or surface and orbit ect.
Check out Elite:Dangerous.
@@clrbrk9108 So ED imo is a flying sim and i did try it but as i am no flying sim guy, i did´nt like it.
No Man Sky
I forgot all about SoyField. I was bored 20 hours in. I think i got maybe 100 hours in before i turned it off.
Theres litterally nothing Bethesda could add to make me play starslop again. Shit tier game😊
100 hours - gamepass game
Sounds like a good investment
I feel like it’s almost 10 months too late for a game the was in development for over 5 years.
This ain’t no fuckin helldivers
Midnight content drops! What's going on around here? :)
100+ hours and I just cant do any more. The game is boring.
I don't think the game was boring if you put a hundred hours into it. And if you're just getting bored now then that makes sense 100 hours in any game can be a long time I think I've only done that in a handful of games and I've been gaming for 40 years
I just beat the game 12 times and im still playing I honestly don’t think it’s boring more fun to play now with DLC coming
You put 100 Hours into a game that’s boring . 🤥🤫🫡

Seems like sony ponies are botting your comments with fake bs reviews.
Amazing 👍
Yes, yes the huuuugeeee ...update. Hey look Bethesda did....something. Huuuggeeeee
The game is unplayable like a wierd greeen textures plagues my saves 😢
So creative.
fool me once...
Cool. Let's see it fail again.

ill have to say this expansion doesnt make me wanna buy this game still lol.
BGS has fallen far from what it used to offer
imagine selling a weapon for 10$ which u cant reload and people still making free advertising for you and still that stupid to buy their game.
I wish you had imagined a coherent sentence😂
@@TinMan445😂😂😂
You can reload it. I’ve had that weapon for ages and never had any problem. It must be you.🤨
yeah totally me watching other yt's complaining about it.
@@stevemccann4166 and you would be lieing
It's a good game, but as long as the game isn't released on PlayStation, as long as cheaper PCs can't play this game due to lack of power and the game isn't on sale at a bargain price with all its DLCs, it will never be a " good game."
And, in the meantime, TH-camrs like this one, will be here taking advantage of any event related to this game to make another video, in which they say what the haters of this game still want to hear and see, as none of them want to recognize that, after a year has passed since the launch of the game, if they continue to be a hater of this game, it is because the frustration of not being able to play this game is still a reality. And hate is nowadays a very fat cow that is worth it for the Yoytubers to milk very well, as it makes a lot of money.
Those who like the game, don't even waste much time watching this channel, they prefer to spend their time playing the game. That's what I'm going to do next. Bye!
StarWhat now?
StarField
A game with brains
The reused asset whining is the worst. There 1,000 planets. Each will have multiple zone that are as large, or larger, as Skyrim. Guess what, assets will be reused! Just like every other massive, explorable space game ever. There is no other way to do it because to each planet with even a modicum of fidelity (which would have lots repeating) would take a server farm, like Microsoft Flight Simulator requires.
They fixed so much but still failed to fix the game. It's EMPTY.
If you think the game is empty, you’re pretty damn blind.
@@Kjllo1216 It is empty. Most planets are bland and boring, overused POI, lame loot, the list goes on.
@@Kjllo1216useless game mechanics and graphical fidelity don't count as content.

Am I the only one who worried the fanatical Zealot story will be boring. I hope not as i enjoy starfield, but I was never really interested in the children of atom stuff in Fallout 4
The game could be even better than it is now
Starfield is not going to be elevated out of "Mixed" reviews by more of Pagliarulo's writing.
No, I don't think that "Getting rid of loading screens" is the answer- they're necessary for the Creation Engine to function in the context of a game like this.
>Perk overhaul
>Point-of-interest overhaul
>Make named NPCs not-immortal (Starfield is MADE to be replayed)
>Make some questlines lock you out of other questlines- Siding with the Crimson Fleet locks you out of Law Enforcement quests, for example. (Again, Starfield is MADE to be replayed)
>More variation of randomly-generated NPCs
>More variation of random encounters (if I run into the singing Irishman one more time he's done for)
"Erm, mods exist" is very valid- if the base game is already worthwhile.
Forgive me for not having the urge to mod a mediocre experience into a decent experience.
The game launched feeling a bit bare bones but the foundation for a superb game is there. The core gameplay is solid and the art style is beautiful, come on Bethesda you got it in you to make it epic
Cant stand andreja... I really hope they dont force you to use her.
6:36 An exosuit for your collection? Yeah if you don't mind it being a cyborg with these augmentations part of your body.
For what they are asking for the DLC yeah nah it's a pass
Is it free? Because I feel like they still owe me money after I bought the base game.
Story is worthless and the exploration is pointless.
Wait wait wait.
They release an entire game built around deep planet exploration, but didnt put anything on the planet.
This NEW DLC!!! is just 1 updated planet?
Sad day for Bethesda
We don’t really know anything at this point
You lost me at Xbox.
