F-150 Quarter Mile Test..TOWING A MUSTANG!? How fast is a 2023 F150 when it tows a 2024 Mustang GT?

We recently picked up our 2024 Mustang GT Project Dudd, from Palm Beach Dyno, after they installed and dynoed the Whipple. After we got back, we just had to test how fast our 5.0L V8 powered F150 could cover the quarter mile! Before unloading we took it out and, here are the results!

I promise you are not gonna hurt the 5.0 by keeping it floored at high rpm. That engine loves revving. I have a 2011 f150 5.0, gen one coyote, and I’ve pulled 6k pounds up mountains floored at 5k rpms and it just takes it and keeps going. Definitely don’t feel bad for it cause the 5.0 loves it

Just make sure you change the water pump belt every 40k to 50k. They will break on you!
