If you should fail ten times, rise up and purpose your way; if you should fail a thousand times, do not despair. When the right path is entered, success is sure if the path is not utterly abandoned. God was this needed today. Blessings to all who do not utterly abandon the path, but lose their way at times. Love to all.

I read "As a man thinketh" almost 50 years ago, and it forced me to see the dichotomy between the view he espoused and the materialist views that were governing the world around me. It was true love.....my journey has never been the same....❤❤

I am listening this book the third time on repeat…THIS is what should be taught in institutions that strive to offer people ‘higher education’….The things being taught here have stood the test of time and are still relevant a whole century later! This is good stuff, I am implementing them so that I grow into the very best version of myself and be a better person for my society and the people around me! I AM CHANGED FOR THE BETTER! 😊👍

The beauty and light of civilization is built on the shoulders of Joshua ben Joseph. He who continues to bear the suffering of all. King of Kings, Lord of Lords. I wish to take him down from the cross and carry him the rest of my journey, but every time I fall it is he that lifts and carries me. Thank you Joshua. I am forever in your debt.

The heart is more powerful than the brain. The blood needs to flow, it was made first in the anatomy. Blood and our fluids respond to vibrations. Words are vibratory (The invisible forces are ever working for man who is always "pulling the strings" himself, though he does not know it. Owing to the vibratory power of words, whatever man voices, he begins to attract.--The Game of Life, Florence Scovel Shinn (1925) ) - and so too your blood and fluids react. The brain is ready to what ever you focus on. Always fantastic to find out ones observations and testimony matchup to generations previous. Shows that we are a sum of the past, present and future. Thank you!

One of the most straight forward reads.
Feels very familiar and connectable to the majority of situations ive crossed in life
All of the outcomes are in like with what is said here.
What of my intention TO be lazy, though?
All I want to do is make room for my own selfishness, to me it sounds just downright terrible to serve others, to practice this sort of perfection, at the cost of selfish things like laying in bed or gratifying hunger.
I started looking for improvement not because I wanted to be GOOD, I just wanted to alter my own conditions so that I can reach what is the demand of body.
My own society has its own faults and misalignments but I feel like i was grown on this kind of thing. Writing especially felt like this. Being mocked for how I held the pen made me dislike writing, so my practice was off, and now my handwriting has difficulty being clean and precise, the letters even look mildly immature
I can see what hes saying in my experiences for sure
But do I really have to cut off my natural self? Do i really need to he subject to situations that let me decide between dumb action and forgiveness?
I know that clearly im scewed that its easier for me to just continue self gratifying, especially with no direct motive for being virtuous.
I know full well the above can be considered little more than defense for choosing my future unvirtuous wants.
How does one not see the challenges of life as this sort of conversation?
"yes. We have sweets. We could have given you the body to sustain endless eating, but its not about that."
"But i want it. Why take gratification in the 'good' I judged when i could have went and felt good doing what i asked, eating sweets? You gave me bad teeth to prove a point not because it was necessary"
Until i dont see god, universe, etc. As teachers of lessons that DO NOT have real use, but instead are practice in 'good' itll be impossible to follow

There was something about the late 19th/ early 20th century with respect to higher spiritual thought - top quality. Unfortunately, the world wars and the new age movement seem to have put an end to it.

    • @Illsamustache
      @Illsamustache ปีที่แล้ว

From my research, it was the final attempt by the ancient ‘secret orders/societies’ to wake up the average person to their true potential and break the grasp of the materialists. Unfortunately, they failed, as most people are not fated/destined to wake up. Only ever a small % from each generation seem to be, based on what they’ve managed to learn from previous incarnations.
Those secret societies have since been infiltrated and infected entirely by the materialists/luciferians, aka ‘the illuminati’, whom are actually the antithesis of being truly illuminated.
If you’re here reading this, you’re one of the holdouts, just like me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

    • @Illsamustache
      @Illsamustache ปีที่แล้ว

Oh, and Art Bell was illuminati, just like all his guests and the UFO community in general. He was a disinformation agent, like Alex Jones and David Icke.

He who feels a need to constantly guard himself against the actions of others will likewise feel the need to accuse others and to justify the actions in himself which he condemns in the actions of others but no justification is any excuse for hypocrisy and no excuse is any justification for mediocrity. Whatever threats a man is faced with...the man who is able to face himself has nothing to fear...For having first conquered the inward enemy...the outward ones disappear.

Virtuous individuals bridle their tongues, ensuring speech is strong and purposeful.
Abstaining from unkind speech and avoiding idle conversation are steps towards virtue.
29:23 😇 Overcoming Abusive Speech and Levity
The virtuous person refrains from abusive language and uses words that are pure and true.
Irreverent speech, levity, and vulgar communication are obstacles to be overcome.
Grave and reverent speech, coupled with pure and innocent mirth, characterize virtuous conduct.
    31:49 🤔 Overcoming Captious or Fault-Finding Speech
Captious speech involves magnifying small faults and engaging in vain arguments.
Controlling the tongue, avoiding quibbling, and fostering a spirit of self-conquest are essential.
Well-controlled speech and mental subduing lead to the five steps in virtue with speech.
37:16 💖 Virtue: Unselfish Duty, Unswerving Rectitude, Unlimited Forgiveness
Virtue starts with the unselfish performance of duty, considering it sacred.
Unswerving rectitude demands honesty, impartiality, and a commitment to truthfulness.
Unlimited forgiveness involves overcoming personal injury, practicing disinterested charity, and fostering a charitable spirit.
43:29 🌌 Mental Conditions and Their Effects
Wrong mental conditions, such as hatred, lust, and pride, lead to suffering and unrest.
Right mental conditions, including love, purity, and humility, result in joy and enlightenment.
All sin is ignorance, and the pursuit of the higher life requires abandoning wrong mental conditions.

Thanks for wonderful reading. I am currently in Ilfracombe, the base for James Allen. I am surprised there is not much in terms of memory/recognition of this Author here? How is this possible??
