The "band" which was actually a one-woman band (Diane Luckey) was a taxi driver and played one of her 2 ONLY EVER records (the other song was a cover) on her cab for one of her fares who happened to be a film director, who would later produce Silence of the Lambs. The song is called Goodbye Horses and is an amazing piece of art. It was even used in the film (Silence of the Lambs). She recorded a cover of Talking Heads' Heaven in another film by the same guy. This was around the early 90s. She vanished completely after that. No one knows what happened to her though it had been said she was tracked down by some fans and supposedly it was confirmed Diane had been working as a bus driver in Staten Island. A couple of weeks ago I found out about her death to unkown reasons in 2022.

At first I didn't believe Paula then realized the injury is so specific but absolutely legit ( If you were to get hit at the center point on the top of your head it would damage your spine ) and she could have just mistaken the corn field for Iowa...and her team WOULD have made her viewed as damaged goods and would be un insurable as in their eyes she would have be viewed and probably needing pain meds , or muscle relaxers , physio or just more needs than a healthy artist , NOW you get sympathy and it's good for sales regardless but late 80s early 90s would have been viewed as high maintenance and high cost given her injury. For example the theme song of Final Fantasy XIII was Leona Lewis and the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius had Katy Perry and Ariana Grande. Queen of J Pop Ayumi Hamazaki did Tales of Xillia. But for the remaster of Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner Soul Hackers on the 3DS had a new song called #X and the credits said performed by Wink Wink. There is litterally NOTHING else about her. To make matters worse it's in English not Japanese so it still could be a Japanese singer....BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE the vocals have reverb,delay and has multiple tracks playing at the same time pitched up and down. A decade later nobody knows.

While the video itself was rather dull, what bothers me is how she found it. Was it on a random hard drive? Did she hack into Tommy Mottola's basement? Or was it simply shelved due to the song's underperformance? Another one is the supposed unreleased Madonna song "Silly Girl." Allegedly, her 2008 song "Beat Goes On" is a mix of "The Beat Goes On" and "Silly Girl." While "The Beat Goes On" leaked in 2008, there is no information on "Silly Girl." Most of Madonna's unreleased songs are registered on ASCAP, but not this one. There are no lyrics, interviews, or registered songs mentioning it. Swollen Dream is a song credited to them and can be found here on youtube. Its origins are unknown though, doesn't appear on anything on Discogs
