"I'm not losing my child again if I can help it" - That line gave me chills and made me cry for probably an hour ;___; I don't often see positive representation of female-female relationship in k-dramas, so Hae Soo and Lady Oh's mentorship/quasi mother-daughter relationship felt really special and beautiful to me. Add to it how their path in life seem to mirror each other so closely, and it just becomes really poignant and heartbreaking, especially since Lady Oh shows that 'strength' doesn't always mean you turn ruthless and cold like the Queen (which is an alternative of how Hae Soo's path can be). Damnit, I was looking for a fun Sageuk reverse harem, NOT ALL THESE FEELINGS
TRUEEE. It's seriously sad how what Lady Oh said is real.. about loving a prince can destroy your life (I dont remember what she said) and Soo will end up like her. Oh hell yes Soo did... she became a court lady and So became a king, like what happenned to Lady Oh and the man he loves. And in the end they eventually get separated too... like wow. I was expecting a happy ending but it broke my heart 😢😭
And the princess became like the Queen ;__; this series really fucked me up, because the relation of Lady Oh and the King was basically a mirror of Hae and So. Devasting.

Hae Soo and Lady Oh's relationship was so special and beautiful to me that I cried like a baby when Lady Oh died. That woman was a true mother and friend to her even when she knew she'd die in protecting Hae Soo! This Drama will always be special to me due to the complex relationships and how the actors bonded with each other!
This is one of the saddest scenes... Court Lady Oh dying, Hae soo's current state and Wang Wook walking away. Wook walking away was the hardest/saddest thing to see. This drama created a hole in my heart.

one of thee most memorable movie scenes ever. It was the perfect combination of music, scenery, atmosphere,emotion, heartache with the least amount of spoken word. It was simply moving. Make up and costume did a great job
After so long here I am crying like a baby to this song. I honestly feel so strongly the emotions the characters portrayed thought the serie. How they never got the chance to really experience love and care until it was too late, and how heartbreaking it was to lose everything when they had just realized their love. Every single episode is so heart wrecking and beautiful. The writer honestly deserved way more recognition for such a beautiful script, and of course the k-drama and actors for such amazing acting. This is the only historical kdrama that I've watched since start to finish. It was so amazing and full of emotions. The song itself is soooooo beautiful and the drama is just.... I can't explain it with words. If you watched it, then you understand why. Even though it's 2020, I will still be waiting for the 2nd season until the day I die.

This song....has done something to me. I don't speak any Korean...but just the music itself has me in tears....and emotional. I did not want to look up the lyrics because I knew it would cause me to cry more but of course I couldn't let that go and have to look them up. and of course I'm sitting here tears rolling down my face. I don't know if its because I still have the Drama fresh on my mind but this song is so beautiful I am so moved.
The voice is absolutely beautiful though!

this episode revealed the beauty of this drama and it made me fall in love with it all over again. I have finally felt the connection and the chemistry between Wang So and Hae Soo - it was like the sit up scene in Secret Garden or the first "eye lock" between So jin and Mo Yeon in Descendants of the Sun :P
