Jack Steadman is literally my hero...I'm so amazingly lucky to have their music in my life. My love for this band and what their music did for me is infinite. Thank you so much, Bombay Bicycle Club.
please explain to me why YOU don't have a Grammy yet..or why YOU don't have a million subscribers at the least ;) (not entirely sure you grasped the context of my blind compliment there) besides they've an NME which is worth at least two grammys anyway.
niraea i think he meant that everything is perfect especially the bass-line, and that he just didn't word it properly, I don't see how he could possibly say anything bad about this song
i think their best album actually. I really hope they make more music at some point, would love to see how they'd sound after their different projects away from the band
Come to [x2] I'm kneeling down To get closer to the sign And you're breaking my back every time It's hard to see it For all the rust But I saw it fading and I have some faith in us Don't need to tell me You know this ain't nothing new Of course I love you Of course I do But to outplay is not to love And yet I keep on coming back to call your bluff It's hard to see it For all the rust But I saw it fading and I have some faith in us Your evening eyes the rain outside the way I know No fear that I'll be fading out alone Your evening eyes the rain outside the way I know No fear that I'll be fading out alone Your evening eyes the rain outside the way I know No fear that I'll be fading out alone It's hard to see it, for all the rust, But I saw it fading and I have some faith in us
Hope this album and it's rise in publicity gets this band the credit they deserve! Great musicians and truly amazing live , a lot to ask for in this day in age of the "try hard in the studio but then casually 'wheeled out' when it comes for their stage time" bands. We love you Bombay keep it up ❤️ Jack and majority of your loyal fans
There's this distinct vibe on each song starting from track 4 to the very last. The other vocalist; not sure what her name... provides a very nice contrast to the lead singers.
in my opinion this is the best bombay bicycle club song ever
Along with lights out, words gone yes!
my god!
Lights Out, Words Gone is my #1 (maybe of all songs, not only Bombay's)
But this is certainly on the top list
The bass-line in this song is the best thing that has ever happened to me
Eat sleep wake is also very good

Come to [x2]
I'm kneeling down
To get closer to the sign
And you're breaking my back every time
It's hard to see it
For all the rust
But I saw it fading and I have some faith in us
Don't need to tell me
You know this ain't nothing new
Of course I love you
Of course I do
But to outplay is not to love
And yet I keep on
coming back to call your bluff
It's hard to see it
For all the rust
But I saw it fading and I have some faith in us
Your evening eyes the rain outside the way I know
No fear that I'll be fading out alone
Your evening eyes the rain outside the way I know
No fear that I'll be fading out alone
Your evening eyes the rain outside the way I know
No fear that I'll be fading out alone
It's hard to see it, for all the rust,
But I saw it fading and I have some faith in us

"And I have some faith in us"... That phrase kills me!
If you have an iPhone or iPad search for an app called 'That Sound', it finds the latest songs like this one and allows you to listen to them easily.
