    Do the HEMI springs make the ride firmer and/or stiffer? Same question for the Bilstein suspension. I love the ride quality of the stock Grand Cherokee, so I'd hate to lose some of the ride comfort...

    Hey I have a 2015 jeep grand Cherokee wk2 with a old man emu lift and JBA upper control arms and woody lower control links . My left side drivers side strut is not extended all the way up , it looked like it was blown out with no nitrogen, so I bought a new strut and isolater and used the old spring , it’s still sagging on a new strut , so what could it be ?! Would a bent subframe case this or a bad lower control arm and bushing? Need some help my friends

    Not to burst your bubble but, all wk-2's use the same coils. There is no difference between 3.0 diesel, 3.6, 5.7, or 6.4. Same part number for all.

    I didn't understand what you were saying about the diesel and the front springs.

    Need to be cautious with those struts. I've bent the bottom bracket and it damaged the drive shaft. Not fun on the back roads.

    Are the rear shocks the bilstein 5100s for 0 to 1 inch lift? They’re the only ones I can find. Thanks man love the Jeep! Totally inspirational!

    do you feel like you lack mud and sand /snow mode or is it not needed with lift - thanks

      It would be nice but honestly all that stuff is more of a gimmick to me. Driver control and keeping up wheel speed is what will get you through an obstacle. Low range and a rear locker would definitely be beneficial though. If I were to do it all over again, if definitely would have bought a Trailhawk.

    Lowest spot is your control arms in your jeep not the middle bar

    • @TRAILTROOPER
      @TRAILTROOPER  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that’s true, but the control arm moves with the tire so clearance that isn’t near as important as center clearance. If you drop down an obstacle, it’s not the control arm that’s going to hit, it’s going to be something after the tire, which is usually the t-case or transmission pan.

      @@TRAILTROOPER But from what the jeep dealers have told me thats where they measure from so measuring from anywhere else is pointless as a comparison. Diffs used to be measure as they were the lowest point which isnt usually the same with independent systems .

      @@rockabillyrebel9207 A WK2 is advertised as having 8.6 inches of ground clearance stock. I can tell you from experience Jeep wasn’t measuring the control arm for that number. The control arms are def lower.
