I watched your other video on this - tried it two days ago. Was having cold sweat - to remove and fix back - thankfully all can fix back. took two hours plus... Thank you
thanks bro, first time managed to do this and cleaned up my aircon internals after 2 years, been trying to figure out how to open and get rid of the nasty molds inside... this helped alot!
Hello again..this time i couldnt take out the fan blower. After i take out the screw, the blower still wont come out. Think the shaft rusted and stick to the blower side. I sprayed wd40 also unable to take out.. Any thoughts?
This is the most detailed description on how to dismantle a Starmex aircon on TH-cam! I may have found the answer to my aircon problem. I have not been able to remove the blower after loosening the screw. I may have tightened the screw at a location slightly more to the right of the axle where you had advised not to do so in the video. If this is the case, should I remove the screw in order to take out the blower?
Yes. I'm facing this issue too. My aircon blower is stuck now, and the aircon guy say the screw is rusty and stuck in now. Any way, I can remove this now? I have tried and unable to remove the screw in the blower.
i manage to do all in 2 hours first time. Difficulty will are putting in the Blower...and taking the drain Pan out because the hose connection was very tight. But it can give a thorough clean inside, and the blower...which is great..
I just tried doing my air-conditioning cleaning today out of adhoc, couldn't book the service, the video here didn't show the exterior cover removal step, this is tricky step, after removing the 2 screws, one need to pop the center zone to unlock the hidden hook. It was scary experience on removing the louver tray.. almost given up. Thanks for the video sharing, somehow I did the full disassembly first before bumping to this video. the missing step of removing exterior
Thanks for very informative video. But you didn't show how to unplug the lower component from aircon hose? I couldn't remove it to drain the water from the hose.
Thanks for the video! Really good explaination. For the newer model of starmex is the blower screw installation the same? Cause my screw pop out so i wonder is there suppose to be a hole for the screw and I misalign?
Just did it today!! Saved me at least $85. And good workout for me 😂. Had some difficulties at the start cox first time doing and my aircon joints were stiff. Figured it out eventually! Problem is there's still rust inside my Aircon, dunno how to get rid of those.
I took out the blower sometimes back, now I cannot remove the blower wheel despite removing the screw. I believe it’s the alignment not done properly the last time. Try to force it out but failed. What shd I do now to remove the wheel?
Great video for guide first timer to self clean the air con and save 80bucks. … just that mine the drain pan / the RHS drain tube cannot remove so left it hanging during cleaning …
While using starmex at 3 bar fan speed with moving vane, the air con suddenly become like maximum fan speed and no led lights and vane stop moving stop in middle opening. What is happening? Thanks.

Is it ok to use 3/4 inch insulation for copper pipe if I am worried about condensation on trunking for starmex system 3?
Yes,but if residences normally installer use 1/2 inch.
Anyone knows where I can purchase the bearing housing shown @4:32? mine is broken and it causes the blower to rattle when the system is turned on

My blower is stuck and couldn't pull and and cannot be tightened up… any advice to rectify it
Suggest you try to pull out and check the shaft is it uneven.
If the shaft ok,try to push in again.
My blower is stucked as well, previously can take out to wash but after screw back subsequently not able to, any idea why ?
It may be due to the screw tighten at the wrong section of the shaft.
@@BonMj any remedy ?

Why my blower so different I can't find or see the screw.. starmax MS-A10VD..

Any tip if the blower get stuck?
It depends on the situation.
Try use long screw driver to adjust.

I lost the screw for the blower :( Where can I get a replacement screw for it?
Any same size screw u can fix it or find at aircon recycling station or Mitsubishi
I follow your method exactly..now unable to fix the drain pan back. Seems like the drain pan will hit the metal fins leh... I can't put back oh my...
Push in from the right hand side.after that left hand side.
