AR, not sure if the comments is the right place to discuss a 7series glitch, but I have a recurring problem with me Dora(BMW). L.S. trunk lift. Never mind, found your video on this, question answered now, key word here, “Stabilus”. The one I kept using the life warranty on(3rd one)the left side had a pot metal top ear. Nothing like German steel, prob solved, again, thanks for your “real world” videos!
I remember seeing the alpina badge in one the first videos of your car. Obviously I didn’t comment because I’ve done some small touches and modifications on my e38 myself. However I wanted to take this opportunity and thank you for all the help in all of your videos. For all the great content and great advises and step by step explanations. You’re the man!! Keep going !!!

Haha, well done AR. BTW I just moved to SoCal from Texas, drove my e38 all the way here (in a nasty sandstorm, no less). If you ever decide to tackle the TCGs, I have the tools to do it. I did mine three years ago and have had no issues since then. I'll be on the lookout for you on the freeways here.
