I don't get how people can say EXO had everything easy. Jongdae and Baekhyun kept all their tears to themselves when they won their first daesang bc they though they don't deserve it, since they trained the least. Jongin, Tao and Yixing got injured a lot for working hard. Yixing, Yi Fan, Tao and Luhan missed their families a lot since they couldn't contact them whenever they want to. Junmyeon who trained for almost 7 years, without any assurance that he can debut but still pushed it to pursue his dream. Minseok who shows positivity with every things he does. Kyungsoo and Chanyeol working hard to improve their dancing skills inorder to make us proud. And lastly Sehun, he isn't the best in vocals and dancing but he's great at both.
He debuted when he was in High School, constantly improving to show off his talents. EXO members never fails to show off Sehun's talent, whenever they have the chance to, because they know what's Sehun's capable of. Hell they even pushed him to sing their lines just to prove his vocals to everyone, and yet people still claim that he's just a visual and a decoration to EXO. Everyone worked hard to achieve the things they want from the start.
Don't doubt any one of them, they never had it easy, they trained like any other artists. Just because they debuted under the top company, it alrdy means that they got famous as soon as they debut. They are the top group for reason. Keep all your hates to yourself, EXO is EXO they are legends for a reason and your insecurities won't change that fact.
Exo Xiu they might not said he’s just a decoration,, but they used to said like “”only visual,he can’t rap,he can’t dance, he can’t sing.. he is not good preach as well’”” .. but just bcoz he got little line compare to his fellow members,they considered him he is nothing...while he is not,,.yea no dought his visual r another level, not only in Korea,he is so popular in China and Bangkok,japan becoz of his visual,he can sing ok,he can dance,he is a cute Maknae who used to care a lot of his older brothers(exo members) and pray for them every night.. n for exol he is our golden maknae...

I'm an ARMY before any other fandom and even I can say SM have some of the best vocals in kpop with EXO's Chen, DO & Baekhyun being some of the best vocals in kpop ever. Anyone that says EXO was picked based off of looks alone is a complete fuckwit because those 3 make me want to cry with how amazing their vocals are and anyone that disagrees is being a liar!

This right here is what hurts me the most. People discrediting their hard work and sacrifices. People calling them the privileged ones or from the " big three". What people don't know is, being a trainee in that "big three" that they are calling, is 10 times the pressure and 10 times the hardwork. You need to give your all in practising hard everyday, to get good results and pass the monthly evaluation. Just imagine doing that for 6 years. So people just bluntly saying that they are only famous and wins awards because they belong to the "big three" is so hurtful and just makes you so angry. It breaks your heart hearing people mocking their talents and call them "nothing but" an sm artist. No! They're not "nothing but".They worked hard and sacrificed a lot just to be where they are. Nobody placed them there, they climbed their way up to that pedestal with their talent and hard work.
Nina Balante totally agree... the more pressure the more they appreciate their debut n not to lack off bcuz they dont want to let those sacrifice and hard time just goes by... work hard and you'll success... why those company bcome 'big 3'? They also work hard to make todays possible..
I compared the idol system among Korean agencies with American colleges and antis said those systems were different. Sure artists from Big 3 will get exposure easier from smaller companies like gratuates from famous college will find a job easier than those from unknown colleges. But people seem to forget it's harder for trainees to debut in the Big 3 because of the bigger competition.
Nope..all idols work hard through their trainees day ..but those in small companies need to work harder..because they lack in financial..promotion..and they need a long time to get famous..like big3 once they debut they will get known at least a bit ..at least people know their existence..
EXO is only successful because of ‘big 3’: talent, passion and hard work.

This hit me really hard. As a dancer I understood the meaning of 1 minute on stage equals to 10 years of hard work off stage. We may see EXO enjoying their success, but deep down we don't know the struggles they have gone through.
Its true....I was dancing on stage once with my friends we took 1 month maybe even more to practise I always wonder why are we dancing so hard for just 3 minutes on stage once I dance on stage...I realized you feel like a sense of joy

I used to teach dance (just basic). we practiced for like 4 months for a 3-minute fame.
That 4 months include ankles getting swollen, boys fighting, girls getting divas etc. my last strand of patience getting snapped etc.
but at the end of the day it's all about goals.
This hit right in the feels with the things that have been going on...people doubting Exo’s credibility, their hard work and scope of being artists. It’s all well put here. Each and every EXO member are a gem on their own, molded through fire and refined to be the stars of the day today’s. The path has been coarse, definitely not easy, yet they stand as one, no matter how far they are. They still work hard for their fans and smile through tears. For they have been through all and can give it their all.
Just because you are a solo stan, you can’t put down another member. In EXO, learn to love all or leave. Every single member deserves true love from their fans and appreciation. Be it Sehun who gets 0 lines or Lay who is away from EXO for political reasons. They all deserve equal love and respect for their Hard work. We don’t wanna lose another member. So please think before you act and don’t do things that might make an artist doubt his worth. Let love conquer all hatred. Let’s live up to our names. EXO-Love ♥️

the fact that we are learning that SMs way of debuting exo was basically produce 120 NOW shows that exo never grew on pity, they grew by building themselves they grew by showing people hard work alone goes a long way and no human gets his dream handed to him on a gold platter, exo is the definition of hardwork, from fighting their way to debut, living up to expectations, going through mockery of them not lasting long to building the biggest fanbase to exist, breaking their own records and being mass global icons. Every idols works hard. They all deserve a recognition from everyone and a applause. Not everyone knows how much they have been through, how long they launch for a debut and make their family proud. Don't just love a group that you loves but instead share it to all the idols. Give your group a special place. Its really a path that you can't sees the end. You have to keep working and working. Having to have a those opinions, rumors that totally have exaggerated, no ones know who they really are but they have to bare with it. Good and bad words, awards and recognition, last love and private life. That's all they will and be facing in the future and it will continues forever. Once you are a celebrity there's no way out. This is why I really stan them until now and forever, why? Because they really never forget where they are started and why they are started. The Humility remains until now. Those days with the OT12, as a trainee until they debut are so tough for them but still they made it. For me, they are one of the MOST VERSATILE IDOL and it is one of the reason also because they really explore different genres and they Slayed it so much. They don't remain what they really are but they improved so much with a HUMBLE HEART. I understand what you mean here. But there are reasons why some EXO-Ls are not cherishing the members who have left.
For example for Tao, he is the third Chinese member to leave EXO. When Chris and Luhan left before him, on one of the interviews, he cried and said how other members were having a hard time and himself as well. But after he injured his ankle at the Idol Athletic Star Championship, he rested to recover and couldn't join the stages for Call Me Baby. After other members were on stage for the Call Me Baby, suddenly it was reported that Tao has decided to leave EXO. On the news, it was written that Tao's father wanted Tao to leave EXO because he couldn't see his son getting hurt at Korea. All the EXO-Ls were sad to hear him leave. Out of all EXO-Ls, some understood since EXO would have to be on Idol Athletic Star Championship in the future and can get hurt, while some were angry since other members got hurt before as well and their parents didn't use this as a reason to make their sons leave the group. Well, it became quiet after this. However, when Tao had a comeback as a solo artist in China, he said all of the music in the album, including the title song and side tracks, is about his story. *The reason why this news shocked EXO-Ls was that in one of the songs' lyric, it was about how he thought the time he spent as an EXO member in the past was a waste of time.*

honestly is a personal choice many new fans doesn't know much about them, I personally cherish them and their moments with exo, but I don't know what are they doing this days, I hope tao is ok, I don't know what is happening to him, I think he has a big fanbase in china who cherish him a lot.
