That's really just something that you have to deal with when working with foreign contractors in countries where wages are lower. Hackers from the US or Europe can pay those foreign contractors a week's wages and give the contractor the equivalent of a year's salary.
I used to play this game alot when I was a kid, and a couple of months ago I played for the sake of nostalgia and seeing how much the site has fallen since then is so depressing and anger inducing. The fact that Roblox is allowing pedophiles, degnerates and these sus games on their platform makes me sick. It honestly feels like a huge part of my childhood has been tainted. This is exactly why I no longer use it anymore, disabled it for good and never will go back to it, constantly getting suspended without any sort of proof that I broke any TOS, no swearing or anything like that just chill talk, meanwhile people who blast racist audios or any explicit shit always get away without getting any suspension, biased moderation.

The thing that piss me off about Roblox is that it’s progressively turning into vrchat with level of degenerate behavior that could rival 4chan and Reddit I wish Roblox would actually take a stance and start fixing things like for example
1.Voice chat moderation it’s gotten to a point where you can literally spam report someone and get them banned for week even if they follow the rules or not

Ruben honestly should have stuck his heels in and told them to bring it. The courts would have instantly told Roblox to screw off considering how Ruben himself annihilated all their accusations in a single video while also bringing up their abhorrent behaviour with protecting children on their platform. Roblox afterwards struck a plea bargain with Ruben to exile him in exchange for not suing him, like Ruben would have been ruined by the court proceedings and not Roblox in the ensuing PR Disaster that would have followed.
But since court trials are rather mentally straining and depend these days alot more on how many lawyers you can buy, Ruben probably thought that just wouldn't have been worth it, which is understandable. But you can't help but think about what could have been...

I know someone already said this, but you should bring all this up to a major news network. Roblox literally doesn't care about anything but their investors and public image
that actually might kill the website. If all of this was exposed on an international level, Roblox would be banned from so many households by parents, they'd lose most of their players. It makes me so happy that he points out all this stuff because it's all so insanely easy to find and there are tons of fetish accounts and "trading" accounts, it's really nasty. It's adults that get off on talking to young kids and posting gross images on a platform that is FOR young kids, and also kids/teens that are trying to act way too grown up and getting caught up in some seriously disgusting situations with other people. Whether it's using nsfw games for attention, "trading", creepy roleplays, or even creating a roblox "friend group" or "fan base" on discord and then adults (even if they're just 18 or 19) talk to children like there's no age difference when there is. It's so obvious that it's happening, and seeing roblox's stupid advertisements with their ugly blob characters makes me even more upset.

FYI these users typically open files in Roblox Studio and invite them VIA the "Collaboration" or "Team Create" feature so that they can privately go into a game with absolutely no way of being moderated.

At this point, we all know Roblox is just taking advantage of children. They barely pay creators, barely support them and skim so much money as Robux tax or price hikes. Throw in what's effectively no moderation on top of that, and you have an anarchistic children's platform that rakes in cash without making effort to even ensure their servers can handle players, let alone be a safe space.
reminds me of the labor situation of the saltpeter mines where workers were paid with pieces of cardboard to buy food and stuff, and since they didn’t get a lot of income at the end of the month they had to pay more than the amount owned and couldn’t leave the mines, not even to exchange or trade these cardboards with other mines

I’ve been boycotting Roblox for at least 2 years now and trying to get my extended family to stop letting their kids play this game but I couldn’t reach them by myself. You’ve turned a spiteful situation from you being banned unfairly, to being sued, to becoming an arbiter of justice… it’s so sad that that image of cheese pizza was only removed but the group still remains.

There are still games that I enjoy, personally on ROBLOX. The game is fine, the company is not. If ROBLOX gets bought out (which it probably won't since David Bazooka's intentions is to blow up the whole site instead of improving it) then ROBLOX will take a step in the right direction. The company has lost the very thing it was made for: joy. There are so many good employees at ROBLOX, yet it just HAS to be ruined. HAS TO be ruined by a few bad actors in the midst. The more you continue to try and wipe the inappropriate content out of the Catalog, the more likely these people who made these will try and stop you. One time I was looking for a roblox game that was just titanfall2. All I typed in was “Atlas”, and the first thing was project atlas, which was what I wanted to see (the Titanfall 2 game in question), but the rest were just so many questionable games that had nothing to do with the word atlas (atlas wasn’t in the title of any of them). Roblox moderation really needs to step up.

I will never forget that time I lost a Roblox account because of an inappropriate name. It made me sad but it was expected. Considering the name was literally "TakeAwayTransRights."
The only reason I had it that way was because I was trying to see how offensive of a Roblox account username I could get and that was by far the funniest one to me. I didn't use it because it reflected my beliefs or anything, I just thought it was hilarious that Roblox was like "Nothing wrong here." It got banned, and even though I appealed it amounted to nothing.
Yes, I did spend money on that account to customize it. It was black with a rainbow cartoony outline to compliment the name. I mostly just hung out in those Vibe games and chatted in a corner. Surprisingly the people who got offended weren't trans themselves and the people who were trans that I spoke to didn't find anything wrong with it since to them it wasn't a problem as long as I wasn't preaching it and targeting individuals.

Voice Chat on ROBLOX is by far the greatest thing to ever communicate with players in ROBLOX games. It's terrible they gave it access for 13+ at the start with just ID verification. Should be kept 18+ and rolled out eventually to 13+.
